Its nothing fancy, you get what you pay for at a nice location mid-amsterdam. Ideal if you just need a place to sleep and spend the rest of your day elsewhere. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a budget room.

We stayed in the triple room which had its own bathroom. It was very clean. The room was warm which was great cos it was freezing. Bedding was very comfortable but beds are narrow. Towels were provided but quite small. The room itself wasn't huge but perfectly adequate for the three of us and it was quiet. It wouId have been nice to have had some hot drink facilities. The owner was really friendly and kindly let us keep our luggage at the hotel until our flight. Stairs were steep so it would be tricky if u had a big case. This hotel isn't luxury but a great base for exploring the city.

good location near dam square with supermarket near by and easy walking distance from train station.Room basic, shared toilet door tricky to shut, and steels very steep and small, but that's Amsterdam.

A well located hotel, room was clean. Decoration was pretty basic but fine. The shower/toilet ensuite was fine. The beds were very comfortable

This hotel is situated very close to Dam and Dam Square so just a few minutes from Centraal Station. So easy to find on arrival to Amsterdam and was greeted by the lovely friendly owner who supplied a map and described various places that would be worth a visit in Amsterdam. He was such a gentlemen and made me and my friend feel very safe and welcome. Yes there is a narrow staircase, yes there are stairs but you will find this IN EVERY BUILDING in Amsterdam, this is how they are built so was prepared for this and didn't mind the exercise! Room was spacious, with very comfortable beds and linen. Good size en suite with a great shower and towels supplied. Room was clean and had everything required. Great value for Amsterdam and would absolutely not hesitate in staying here again.

Had a good stay here, no complaints as it is a budget hotel (although Amsterdam prices in general seem to be very expensive). Service was incredibly friendly, and the room was very quiet. It's located close to the Jordaan district which was great, and everything seemed to be a short walk away.

Pros: It is a simple, no frills hotel, in a great location. you can't beat the price.
Cons: The only thing that might be an issue for some, are the steep stairs leading to the office and rooms of the hotel. they might be daunting to some, but my husband and i didn't have any issue with them. i also, think steep steps are probably more common than not, in amsterdam.
