Pros: Monumental 5 star hotel @ monumental location @ hq business and cultural city. the spirit of hamburg shines trough in particular here.
one of the most outstanding hotel-atmospheres in the whole world. super connection to hamburg. good choise of pianoplayers. recommended to all 5 groups, but bring your own lamp if you work with papers. they dont have work-light at the hotel.
Cons: Certainly not super deluxe.
breakfast not o.k. there should be papernapkins because of all the surprisingly uneatable items. more hurried and stressfull tables at breakfast in the celler than anywhere at the haubtbahnhof. no nice place avaiable, they are all reserved and empty.
no mercy: check in 1520. arrved 1220. certainly not superdeluxe-mentality. service by all except the doormen nonexisting when best.
toothpaste best before 2002, trumped by any youthhostel in the world.
www (wireless in room) $1,000,000 pr. day., like in the 20th century. no problem, don´t need it.
an ols woman wonders where the toastbread is, then leaves.
there is none. there is none. they place 2 every 5 minutes. no problem, i just read a paper. but that is not possible at these tables.
