"Nearly perfect!"

Room, breakfast and service were fine. However, why was an extra person charged on my invoice, while I stayed in your hotel on my own? Accountancy problems with your IT? Nevertheless, will recommend this hotel, as it is conveniently close to the highway.

"Hotel in a suburb of Groningen"

The hotel is in a suburb of Groningen, half an hour or so by bus to the centre of the town and about 20 mins to the airport at Eelde. The hotel restaurant closes at 9:30pm (kitchen closes 9pm), no good if you are arriving late in the evening (there is a very good italian restaurant within 15-20 mins walk from the hotel though). The room was clean and we had a great view, however it was on the small side with nowhere to put your cases, other than on the floor. Good value for a Sunday night but hotel rate changes depending on the night you are staying. Would probably stay in the centre of Groningen next time we visit.
