Tryp Barcelona Aeropuerto Hotel    

Clean & handy to airport, but restaurant was more like a cafeteria and not very inviting. Beds very comfy.

Regrettably, a disappointing stay. From the shuttle service from the airport, to the lack of any hot beverage amenities in the rooms, to the insufficient number of toiletries in the rooms for the number of persons. Better info required as to where to find your shuttle service. Despite us providing arrival times, we were given no info or offer of assistance as to where and how to find your shuttle service. Airport info desk told us, but as it was after midnight, they did not know if the shuttle would make an 'unscheduled' run, so we had to phone, but info desk would not give us a phone. Once I did manage to phone through a public phone, we got to the shuttle stop where a group overcrowded us and took all the available seats, leaving, splitting up my family. We phoned, they had not, and despite my pleas to the driver, our family was split and I again ended up waiting for the next shuttle with the other half of my family. As it was so late, and once son was already feeling ill, it was better to get at least one hald off to bed for rest. Once arrived, I wanted a cup of tea, only to find that no such amenity in the room, and the bar/ restaurants all closed in the hotel, meaning I had to use room service just for a simple cup of tea! As the "group" before us were hungry, they too ordered room service, and their orders got lumped into ours. As a result, my cup of tea took over an hour to arrive as the chap running room service (very nice gentleman) was working so hard to please the huge group order. He apologized for the delay in the tea, but to wait so long for a simple cup of tea is intolerable. At 1:30 am I got my cup of tea - should not be that way for such a finely rated hotel. Have a coffee/tea pot available in EVERY room - PLEASE!!! Despite our numbers in the family being known to the hotel staff (they had the extra bed set up and I was rightly charged for it) they omitted to have sufficient toiletries in the bathroom, for example, bath sponges. Absolutely NOT acceptable. The ability to pre-book shuttle going to the airport the next morning was, however, excellent. Thank you for your consideration.

Very modern hotel with friendly staff. Pillows and bed were very comfortable. Chose hotel for free shuttle from airport. Bus stop near hotel for Barcelona attractions took about 20 mins and cost only 2 euros. Quite near to port which was handy if going on a cruise.

We booked this hotel at the airport because we had an (early) flight back home.The rooms on the freeway side are noisy from traffic.The bad thing was, we requested a wake-up call but never got one.We woke up just in time, no time to shower or have a breakfast and were lucky not to miss our flight.Please note that a wake-up call, specialy in an airport hotel, is very important!

Cons: Finishes in some areas of the hotel are beginning to show their age/wear and tear and are in need of upgrading, especially in the restaurant

Pros: I flew into barcelona from granada. i was to fly to the u.s. the following morning. having once spent the night in the barcelona airport (there were no hotel rooms available anywhere), i decided to fly in early, get a good night's sleep, and maybe even enjoy an extra day in barcelona. the tryp barcelona aeropuerto hotel made all of this possible. its free shuttle between hotel and the barcelona airport made staying here both inexpensive and convenient. additionally, the bus to barcelona virtually stops alongside the hotel, so i was able to easily ride into the city and have a great meal and some relaxed time to just walk around. the attendant at the hotel's reception desk was well informed and explained where to get the bus and how to know where to get off on the return trip. i had a good night's sleep before flying back to the u.s. and spent the flight reading a good book rather than sleeping. i'd definitely make this kind of arrangement again and would recommend tryp as an excellent stop-over hotel.

Pros: Hotel is great if you want one close to the airport, it's a rather secluded area so great for an overnight stay. the rooms were a good size and clean with bathroom products and towels available.the air con was bliss and any noise outside the room is minimal meaning a peaceful sleep. this hotel is just as pictured but i would not recommend if long term stay as though city not far it would be an expense totravel out. the shuttle was reliable and got us to the airport with plenty of time.
Cons: Eat before you get there if with fussy eaters the dinner selection was not great, prices are high as you would expect to be aware. service at the bar was slow but once you get the staff they are very friendly.

Pros: The free, 24 hour shuttle to the airport is a big plus. it took about 15 minutes to get from the hotel to terminal 1 or 2. we also liked the hotel lobby - very wide, open space with high ceilings and modern design.
Cons: In our room upon check-in, we have no shampoo or bath gel. additionally, there was only one towel (there were 2 of us) and in this towel, there was a big hole. further, the room itself was not in the best condition and not well maintained. the photos were a bit misleading in respect to the condition of the rooms. lastly, my fiance and i were a bit upset that the hotel could not organize a cold breakfast for us upon check-out - our flight was early, before the beginning of the 6:30 buffet breakfast, so we had to check-out at 5:30. normally, other hotels have offered a cold breakfast prepared in advance if we had to leave early.

Pros: Closeness to airport, but otherwise isolated. luckily the food at the bar was excellent.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast was awfull.

Pros: Handy to airport as we were in transit.

Pros: Shuttle to and from airport every 20 minutes from 05:00am to 11:00pm. room very clean and a big king size bed very confortable. bus stop to barcelona at 5 minutes walk. breakfast excellent and a lot of variety and very fresh. nothing negative to say about it. i recommende this hotels to all honeymoners, mature travellers couple/romantic and business travellers.
Cons: Nothink negative.

Pros: A free of charge shuttle bus between hotel and airport.

Pros: Airport shuttle is convenient and frequent, food in main dining room exceptional for airport hotel, rooms clean.
Cons: We needed an additional night's stay as flight was delayed. rooms were available "on line" yet we were told sold out and had to wait and wait and wait (until 2 p.m next day) to be told they had a room, but not the one we were in at the price (significantly lower). after wasting most of the day on an hour by hour wait for "if" they had a room or "if" we needed to change hotels, they offered us a nearly identical room at a significantly higher price. in retrospect, we should have booked a different hotel and taken their "leverage" away. will do so next time. if there were rooms available on the internet when you ask at the front desk, they should re-confirm an additional night's stay.

Cons: Most other hotels have free internet nowadays and it would have been nice to have the same here. since i just check my emails once a day, it wasn't worth paying for.

Pros: Very close to airport, very good breakfast, very close to city bus to ramblas, big rooms.
Cons: Staff helpful but only if you beg for help. courtesy shuttle good, but they don't advise you it's first come first serve.

Pros: After a long stay in spain the hotel was very comfortable and convenient prior to the long flight home.
Cons: The breakfast was outrageously expensive and not near as good as the breakfasts that were often included in the hotel fares as we explored spain and portugal.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The safe and telephone were inoperable in three rooms we tried before we found one with working telephones and safes.
