"Great deal but far from the city"

Hotel was great and really modern, although it was far from the city centre and there was no hospitality in the room.When I called reception they put down the phone on me.Should have provided breakfast for the price we paid at least.

"Definately stay there again"

Great place to stay, reception staff always friendly and helpful, ice avaliable on level 6, rooms were well cleaned with fresh towels, 15 - 20 min walk to tram - we really enjoyed the walk (take umbrella in case of rain) tram 1 goes to city, can catch the free hotel bus /shuttle to the airport and from there catch public transport anywhere in amsterdam, stayed there 10 days, will stay there again. Very,very good!

"Stop over in Amsterdam"

We had to stay overnight in Amsterdam due to the schedule of our flight. The hotel was quite close to the airport, nice, clean room, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had some problems with the TV in our room and they came to fix it in 5 minutes just as promised. We didn't have the time to try the restaurant or the bar there but the room itself was certainly a very good value for money.

"Great way to start my holiday"

Used the drive park and fly package, really good way to start my holiday, excellent staff. I felt the bar/restaurant lacked atmosphere, maybe because of the renovations taking place, which did not impose on my stay.

Pros: The hotel was very nice and clean
Cons: On the third day of our stay we were informed that our breakfasts were 20 euro. that's about $27 each!! we thought the breakfast was included, that was a nasty surprise. they also charged about $800 to my card, but that later disappeared. the hotel is located a long way from the city center, it took us around an hour to commute one way.

Cons: Prices on the web was 369 euros in total excluding breakfast while we were charged 390. this was the only surprise otherwise it was very ok.

Pros: Clean comfortable hotel
Cons: Hotel is in the middle of industrial area - there is absolutely nothing near the hotel in terms of food or entertainment. good for quick overnight from the airport but not very practical for longer than 1 night. wifi in the lobby only.

Cons: Very far from amsterdam, 20 minute walk + 20 minute tram ride. extra charge for everything including tv, 20 euro breakfast per person, internet, anything they could charge extra for they did.

Pros: Hotel staff were not very nice, very offish and unhelpful - also when 2 members of my family rang at different times, they were told that we were not staying there which caused a bit of panic, thank goodness for mobiles! also there is no shuttle bus (as advertised on the internet) between the hotel and the city (amsterdam) so we had to walk about 1 - 1.5kms to access a tram to take us to the city. the hotel itself is really nice, very clean and comfortable. the shuttle between the hotel and schipohl is very good and the driver is awesome :o)

"Too expensive"

Pros: Too expensive. there should be a shuttle bus to the city. also should be free shuttle to airport. too far anyway from anything
Cons: One of the staff told me there wasn't even a shuttle to the exhibition i was going to and then i find out there was! very expensive but bright and moden. if transport was free it would make a big difference

Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient but your prices are criminal. i travel all over the world and there is nowhere that affords less value for money than europe. that is why people avoid it. 20 euros for breakfast - get a life! and charging it to the room anyway?? charges for internet and email - even in africa and asia is it usually free! again you reconfirmed my resolution to stay out of europe - we will have all our international functions in asia or africa where there is value for money.
Cons: Prices are insane. otherwise a decent hotel with good staff.

Great deal but far from the city
