Cons: This hotel is not up to american marriott standards and it was expensive. the room was small with two twin size beds next to each other. there was room to separate them by about 4 inches. we thought we were getting two double beds. the toilet seat was loose and you slipped each time it was used. the reservation stated they had wi-fi, it did not state that it was only available in the hotel library, not in the rooms. generally when a hotel states they have wi-fi, that means it is available in each guest room. they also stated there was a hotel shuttle to the airport...there was, but our flight was at 6:15 am, so we had to be at the airport by 4:15 am and they didn't start the shuttle until 5 am, so we had to pay $10 euros each to hire a private car to take us. then when we got ready to leave, they mentioned that some other folks also had to be at the airport at the same time and so they took the shuttle van, but still charged us. the 6:15 am flight is a common one for american travelers so i feel it was just a scam. lastly, the worst was the hotel restaurant. i had the worst pasta i have ever had there and to get to another restaurant you would have had to walk in the dark at least several blocks so we were stuck. i would not recommend this hotel and marriott should be ashamed to have their name on it.
