We really enjoyed our stay in Starhotels in Rome. The location was perfect. Walking distance to train station Termini and easy access to restaurants and shopping areas.The decor of the lobby was modern and beautiful. The room was very clean and nice furniture. I would definately stay in this hotel in my next visit to Rome. My husband and I really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel is very nice and in a good location. It may be a minor point but for a four star hotel the wine served in the bar is appalling!! Both white and red were very poor quality and not cheap. Wouldn't necessarily stay again as it had nothing to set it apart from any other hotel.

Only negative, was coffee and tea facilities in room ,but milk was not on offer. Irons and ironing boards were not available, and hair dryers could be improved, however the hotel and all staff were more than obliging, the location was so close to termini station it made everything easily accessible,overalll I would rate this 90/100 and would certainly recommend.

Pros: Staff attentive, concierge fab - regret we missed him to give tip he was so helpful. hotel room luxurious, quiet, clean and service excellent. reception staff incredibly helpful on transport, speedy allocation of room and were delighted to receive an upgrade without asking. treated like royalty during our time in starhotels metropole, will not hesitate to stay again. would recommend to all types of travellers.

Pros: The hotel is in a great central location, only 5 mins from termini. the hotel is lovely and we enjoyed an upgraded room for our silver wedding anniversary trip. we were however allocated a twin room, but this was quickly sorted, so make sure you make your room description clear when booking. nice choice of food at breakfast. we would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Renato in the breakfast room is fantastic, pity the rest of the employee cant be as helpful and happy as he is.

Cons: The hotel's policy on refund.i payed for four nights but had to leave after three nights and they refused to refund my money for the one night that i did not stay
