Hotel Schützen Lauterbrunnen  

The typical Swiss chalet hotel is located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen, a three-minute walk from the train station and has a bus stop at the front door. Not forgetting the spectacular views of the mountain, the Jungfrau, with the Silberhorn peak plus ‘Goethe’s’ waterfall, the Staubbach. Furthermore our hotel is in the area made famous by Sir Arnold Lunn and James Bond and at the end of the 15km Schilhorn-Mürren-Lauterbrunnen ski run. In the winter you can almost ski straight into your freshly-made bed! The world famous 311 meter Staubbach waterfall, which was mentioned in Goethe’s poem ‘Gesang der Geister über den Wassern’, can be seen very close to our house. In the summer a unique experience awaits you.Mürren and Wengen are also easy to reach. The hotel Schützen has its own bus stop so you do not even have to walk (3 minutes) to the station, if you do not want to. No other hotel in the village has this advantage. Another advantage is the numerous possibilities for coming back. From Grindelwald you can either ski back or take the train. From Mürren it is possible to ski back to the hotel or take the cable car from Grütschalp or Stechelberg.
