Peckham Lodge London    

Location: good location, 30 min with bus linie 12, 171 direct to city center. Location is a bit poor area, a lot of black people, but seem to be safe, no one disturbed. Bus stop is very close to the hotel, good advantage and buses all day and evening. Room/Price:Cheap if you book in advance. I stayed with my mother, room was small, but clean. Good if you just want to sleep in the room, no big expectations. Advice to take room upstairs, not ground floor.Breakfast: it was included in the price, could be better. It is just bred with butter/marmalade and tea. That is is. if you want more you can order extra. Lidl supermarket is very close, I advice to buy some stuff there and you can take with you to the room or for breakfast. All considering, for us it was ok, we wanted to just find a safe clean place to stay, not more. paid 216 pound for 4 nights, for 2 people, it was good price for London.

The good impression of the hotel's website and outward appearance, very quickly changed into horror while trying to find our room.A dirty stairway downstairs into the basement (where our room was located), a hall under construction and a room where someone over 5,9 would have hit their head. Mind your head...!Additionally to that the service was nonexistent, every night coming back to the hotel the room cards didn't work and there was no interest in the customer's well-being. While checking out the clerk didn't lose a word at all. Hospitality at it's best!Price performance ratio nonexistent.

Basic hotel rooms but great value for money. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will use again if only need a bed for the night. Cambelwell Green is 10 minute walk away with nice restaurants and pubs. Easy to get into central london on the bus outside the hotel.

The room was very small and bad decorated. The bathroom was quite dirty. They don`t have WI-FI and they don't care. They say it may be a tecnic problem and may be solved the following day, but it wasn't.

Best thing would have to be the value. I booked early so ended up only paying 30 quid a night. Only thing that fairly dampened the experience was being rudely awoken at 5am one morning by the guy across the hall screaming and smashing his room to pieces. It went on for hours before security/police could get him to stop.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Peckham Lodge. Considering it is really close to the shops. The only thing that I wish that they could improve in, is the breakfast. Other than that, the people who work there are really helpful.

I was satisfied with the accommodation, I really liked the design of the whole house and the rooms ans well, and the friendly service. I think it is excellent value for the money and I'd recommend it to anyone! :)

Nice guest room, big room and comfortable. Wifi is not free but at least is fast. My only problem was the noise in the morning and the cleaning guy at 9:00 outside my room. Room was clean, bathroom very good and it was quite warm.

The stay was Cheap but for a reason.Placed a bit away from transportation, their wifi was Down for 5 days in a row and we lost Money on the surfing machine As the net was Down!?Then we Got a celler room, Nice but not many signs of where your room is.There was renovation going on, so lots of noises and barriers to the Way to your rooms and one day no acess to the hotels toilets.Ok breakfast no fansy

The day we arrived at the hotel, they told us that we have to stay in a double bedroom and we were three people. We had to sleep for one night two people in the same individual bed.The only indemnity we had because of that problem was a full english breakfast that was awful. And a buffet breakfast was included in the price of the bedroom so it was stupid to give us that. It would have been better to give us the price of the first night back, but the room was already payed, so we had to put up. But apart from this big problem the rest was great. Good location, just only 20 minutes by bus to central London and the bus stop was at 100 meters from the hotel door. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. I encourage you to get that hotel if you want to visit the wonderful city of London. Also this hotel was very cheap.

Rooms are rather small, which is made bearable if you are lucky enough to get a room with a window. I wasn't. Initially. The first room I was ushered into was a windowless, basement room, which also featured a small garbage bin on the bed as the ceiling was leaking. The second room was equally small, dark and smelly as it was also in the basement. If you do get one of those rooms, be certain that you will not only be denied the free wi-fi being advertised but also the regular phone reception.I was only saved by the kindness of the receptionist who finally allocated an above-sewage-level room with a window that actually was fitted as the photos on the hotel's website indicated.The bathroom was spotless, the towels clean although worn out and with holes, the bed linen did not reveal any stains and was freshly cleaned as was the carpet. There was no telephone in the room so in order to get any assistance you would have to walk down to the reception (or in the case of the first two rooms I was shown - up and out, across the road into the next building). The basic, clean room even if small would work for me in principle. Claustrophobic, smelly basement room would not. So, if I can get the room as pictured, I would stay there again, but it seems like a bit of a gamble and they seem to have quite a few of basement rooms.

Peckman logde was far from the center of london and the personnel wasn't very pleaant to tell us the informations from the bus the restaurants. The breakfast wasn't very good, it wass always the same things

I had to book this emergancy at the last minute and it was very easy to book. Very easy to find and a lovely stay. It had a double bed that took up most of the room and it was un-suite. Didn't need much more to be honest, although there was no window in my room, which was fine for the night but would have bothered me if I was staying longer. The service was lovely, both on the phone and in person. Can't say too much about breakfast, pretty simple really but then I only needed to stay the night.Would consider going back in another emergancy and would recommend. The price was reasonable, although the VAT always catches people and tops the price up :(

The beds were the worst, to hard to sleep in, but everything else was really good,. perfect to just step outside and jump on a bus for London city. clean rooms and friendly staff. a Perfect stay for a small amount.

There are very poor room with unconfortable beds. There are also very noisy at nights. There are also very bad smell.

I guess you get what you pay for. We chose this place based on the price, and I can't say we'll do that again. Peckham is kind of a shady area, and did not feel safe walking around. The hotel itself felt safe, but not the neighborhood. The hotel was undergoing construction, so there was stuff everywhere. The room smelled super musty and like there had been water build-up in the carpet and walls. We were moved a couple of times for different reasons, and they are all the same. One we moved out of because it was covered with tiny spiders everywhere. The rooms are very small, and two out of the three rooms we stayed in had no windows, so if you're claustrophobic, I would not recommend staying here. The staff was nice and helpful, and it was nice having a breakfast in the morning, consisting of coffee and juice, cruissants, cereal, and toast.

The Hotel is very good though the rooms are very small (but clean). My only request - please provide drinking water in rooms and some more items in Breakfast

The hotel was some distance from the center, and the hotel was also under renovation which reduced their impact. But you got good value for your money.
