"Great location, freindly staff."

I'd happily recommend this hotel to others, with the staff being so helpful and friendly to the guests. The location (just off Via Cavour near Termini station) is perfect for visiting the local attractions, and is in a very nice area with plenty of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. During summer you may want to request a room with air conditioning however, as not all the rooms have it (some only contain a large fan) and it can get very hot in Rome (37 degrees Celsius while I was visiting).

Cons: We had booked and paid for a double room with ensuite, air conditioner, telephone, television and secure box via the internet but were not given this until we questioned the room facilities fortunately i had a print out of our booking entitlements.

"The staff were helpful"

Pros: The staff were helpful.
Cons: The room we were assigned was more like a cave! it was next to the hotel with a door opening onto the street coevred by a security door. there were no windows and the noise level was as if you were on the street! the only way to sleep was to wear earplugs or keep the air conditioner on to drown the sounds coming from the door. there appeared to be no smoke detectors and there was only one way in and out. suffice to say, we did not feel too comfortable. also, you had to queue for breakfast as there was insufficient space for guests in the tiny breakfast room. i know that this was a one star hotel but i imagine a hostel might have been a better deal.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help and advise no matter what the question or problem. the location cannot be faulted, it was easy to find, close to the station and all the tourist sights one would want to see!
Cons: The noise both from inside the hotel and outside penetrated the room quite bad at times. not great for a light sleeper.

Cons: I room was not so clean and the tv did't work. it's a pretty noisy hotel maily in the morning, so bring some earplugs.

"The daytime staff is fantastic"

Pros: The daytime staff is fantastic. nighttime staff was a bit ambivient, but did their job well- just that the daytime staff were so positive that it overshadowed the rest of their staff!
Cons: Rooms are fine but not truly top notch. a bit of mold in the shower doors but otherwise ok

"Small cosy and neat hotel"

Pros: Small cosy and neat hotel.
Cons: Unfortunately our rooms wasn't available on arrieval, do to repair or maybe overbooking. got a less expensive room quite a distance away. for the next two nights we got back to the hotel.

Cons: First room shown, no ensuite, toilet at the end of corridor the room we finally settled was at the top of several flights of stairs, then a spiral staircase, no lift, my husband is a fit seventy year old thank goodness

Pros: Very happy to stay in the hotel in the future and will recommend strongly to anyone i know travelling to rome
Cons: Had to check out to catch bus to airport at 6.30am. breakfast is from 7 to 10 yet, i was provided breakfast at 6.15. that is customer service at its best!!!

Pros: I would recommend the hotel (rooms with separate bathroom and air-con) to anyone going to rome. if you stay in a room with no separate bathroom upstairs, be aware sharing the shower is no good and no air-con means you will have the traffic noise all night and day as you cant close the windows.
Cons: Last day there was no hot water in shower.

Pros: Fantastic fantastic location. we had a very quiet pleasant stay it was so close to everything we could walk everywhwere. the staff were very friendly and made us fresh italian coffee every morning. would defiately stay again

Pros: They served good breakfast and the staffs speak good english. staffs are helpful in term of city information. the location of the hotel is excellent - it's only 5 mins walk to main termini station, 20 mins to coloseum and walking distance to major attractions. they are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby the hotel.
Cons: The hotel has no lifts and i requested for a lower floor but instead they placed me at 4th floor which was the highest floor. i have 3 big luggages and they promised to moved it over to my room when they room is ready at 12pm. however, they left it at the lobby from 10am till 8pm after my day tour in town. anyone could has just take it away!
the taxi driver lost her way to the hotel from termini station despite so near.

Cons: If there has to be a negative it has to be the room was small but we didn't go to rome to spend all our time in a hotel room. it served the purpose of having somewhere to sleep and wash.

A 2-star accommodation, Saturnia Hotel is great value for money in its class. Staying here you'll agree that the best things come in small packages. Transport connections are easily accesible via the nearby Termini Railway Station. Piazza della Repubblica is a landmark close to this accommodation; Esquilino Palace and Piazza del Quirinale are nearby as well. It's no struggle reaching Teatro dell’Opera from here; it's also simple to walk to Diocleziano Thermal and Venezia Square. Points of interest like Teatro dell'Opera are close-by.

A bar/lounge is one area available for use during your stay at Saturnia Hotel. No need to go out for breakfast: the most important meal of the day is offered here for free.
