"average, good hotel"

Location of the hotel is perfect. My room was small but had a bathtub. Service was very strange, because they gave me at first one complete set of shampoo, soap, and towels, and then two every day but incomplete, which I didn't need. A bed was not quite comfortable. They really have a garden on the roof but one can only have breakfast and smoke on it in the morning. As for breakfast, it was not one that you expect in the four stars hotel. Any vegetables, not very tasty meats, only one sort of cheese and not very much choice at all. Of course, you may eat as much as you can, but all dishes are very basic. Coffee was good. My stay in the hotel was very expensive and it really is not worth such a price. For all hotel-holders: customers would be more satisfied if you offer them a coffee-tea maker in the room. And, of course, the main problem in Rome hotels now is the total prohibition of smoking.

We had a very pleasant 3-night stay in Hotel Diana. Special thanks to Aldo, one of the front desk staff, for accommodating our requests. It definitely made our stay memorable:) Will definitely recommend it to friends.

"great treat"

Originally booked for a big conference hotel outside Rome we decided to opt for a more centrally located Hotel.Hotel Diana we found through internet was a great spot.Clean rooms ,nice and helpful and a good central location.After this stay we staid in the Rome Cavalieri for business reasons what offered less service at a far higher price

"Lovely hotel"

A well placed hotel to explore Rome. Staff helpful, rooms clean and pleasant, roof restaurant a real bonus. We had a room at the back which was quiet, i think there may be more road noise at the front. Would go back.

"Diana"

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel,Breakfast was great in the rooftop garden,room size not that big,also the internet very slow in 6th floor.

The a/c does not function well despite complaining and we could not sleep properly. The breakfast is ordinary and the same everyday.

"Be careful with your belongings whilst staying at this hotel!!"

During my stay at the Hotel Diana I discovered on that my facial wipes had gone missing, I know this sounds trivial but you don't expect personal belongings however small to go missing! I spoke to a member of staff in regards this issue; he stated that he would mention this to the chamber maid the following morning. Unfortunately nothing was done! Just be careful with your belongings however small when you are staying at this hotel!!On a positive note the rooms are small but clean, the breakfast was ok, location was good.

"Had a great time"

My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. Its location was great. (Would warn anyone following directions on hotel's website from the termini station that they need to exit from the main exit otherwise you have to walk down the whole length of the Principe Amedeo - the beginning of which it a bit rough/intimidating). The staff we always helpfu if a bit stiff. But overall it was great and had a lovely roof garden where we breakfasted each morning.

"Our 2nd stay at Hotel Diana"

We chiose to stay at your hotel a 2nd time as we found it very convenient to see the many sights of Rome. Our stay was very nice as it was in february when we stayed the 1st time.The staff on reception were very helpful especially Davide as the room we were given only had a very small shower and we wanted a bath which was sorted very efficiently and we moved room the following day.The hotel was very central for us to travel around Rome by train or foot.We loved the roof garden restaurant but we did find the main restaurant a little bit busy at breakfast as there is only one coffee machine which meant a rather large queue ....other than that we found the staff in the morning very efficient and helpful.We love the rooms at the front of the hotel and our only negative would be if e were in a room at the back of the hotel as you have a rather unpleasant view.Overall the hotel is lovely and we would recommend it to friends.

"Lovely hotel, good location."

We booked this hotel as it looked like it had great facilities and was in a good location to be able to explore Rome on foot, we weren't disappointed, we were only a 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum.Our room was a good size, not huge but we didn't expect that in Rome, it was cleaned and had fresh towels daily.We had a safe, TV and Fridge which was filled with 2 bottles of water, a can of pepsi and a packet of crisps each day. The only thing I would've liked would be tea / coffee making facilities, however room service was available 24 hours so it wasnt really a problem.Breakfasts were good, catering for all tastes, and kept us filled up all day, perfect when you have a busy itinery.The roof terrace looked lovey but was very pricey, and as such seemed not to be used much by guests.All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly.We'd be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely breakfast included in room served on the roof top garden. Small room but clean and had a comfy bed and all amneties that were needed.

Hotel Diana is a good hotel. A good place from where you can walk to all the sight-seeings of Rome. The room is good and the breakfast is very good. It is also on walking distance from the trainstation. A good place to go!

"Nice hotel"

Hotel Diana was ok. Breakfast was good.Our room was very clean same as bathroom. It was very noisy all day as our room was on streetside. First morning i got a shower and when I stepped out of a bathtub I slippered because the floor tiling is very slippery when wet. So don´t forget to place the foot towel on the floor before getting out from the shower / bathtub. Roof garden was very nice but it wasn´t all day open (at least in April).I might recommend this hotel because of good breakfast and the Roof garden.

"Week end break"

The hotel was as advertised close to termini station.The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.We found the hotel to be clean and the breakfasts adequate.When visiting Rome would be happy to stat there again.

"Stay over Valentine`s day in Roma"

We stayed in a hotel 4 days and 3 nights in Feb 2012. It was a good time and we felt welcomed in this hotel.There is a very good and polite stuff but there is a few things as well.Breakfast was very rich and tasty. The variety of breads, fruits and hot dishes is well impressive. The hotel has a restaurant but we decided not to try because the menu looks a bit boring.We had a room on the first floor with a bath. There was clean and had nice smell but later we figured out that water acts funny on the floor when you try to empty the bath. We thought it can course a flood in the room because of the water.Air conditioning wasnt working properly 2 days but after it was fixed.The rest was good and we can`t leave any negative feedback.The impression about the place,location and professional service is good.
