Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Cons: No bar or restaurant.i also found that having no indoor starcase very disconcerting. not being terribly happy using lifts, i found this a great problem. although there was a fire escape, you could not use this to access your room, as once through the door, it locked behind you. this would put me off using this hotel again, not everybody is happy to use lifts.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the room quite spacious as well as the bathroom. convenient to have the ihop next door, free parking and free wifi in the room and 2 computers in the lobby. nice tv screen.
Cons: The location is quite far from the santa monica pier... i thought it would be closer. we had a communicating room, and could hear the wake up call or the coughs of the occupants of the room.
