good location and fine rooms, but no hot water the first day! We 've made a trip for the weekend and the hotel is good located near to the center and very close to Hyde Park and shops and 2 underground stations nearby!

 "Take ear defenders"
The location is literally around the corner from Bayswater tube station. We were allocated a basement apartment, it was nice enough but a little cramped for three but we didn't intend to spend much time in it so it was fine. However, come nighttime we got no sleep both nights due to the poor construction between floors. We were unlucky to have a group of people above us who walked around all night and every step could be heard very clearly, they must have been practising for a sponsored walk as they covered miles in their apartment.. To make matters worse the fridge made a noise like a spin dryer and it woke us every time it turned on, we would get used to the noise and settle down again only to be woken by the damned thing turning off again all through the night. The third bed was a fold down sofa, unfortunately there was a rut between the sofa seat and the back and one side of the bed was higher than the other so you had to position yourself to avoid it. Otherwise the staff were helpful and the area kept pretty clean. On the second night a delivery of bedlinen was deposited outside our room and left in a four foot heap which took up the whole of the hallway, we had to try and step around it as we came and went but this was removed in the morning.

A heater would be good as the room was pretty cold at night, the mattress was bad and very uncomfortable, the remote contor fell under the bed at one time so we got to see the dirt under the bed which was horrible, the location was good and the staff at reception were nice especially the lady with the Eastern European accent she was very nice and welcoming.

 "Cold"
I loved the location of this hotel--bustling international flavor with fantastic choices for eating, walking, people watching. This actual room had a lumpy bed, not enough blankets, broken hair dryer but the worst was the stinky sewer smell coming from the plumbing. I had to keep the window open the whole time--brrr.

There are much more valuable options in London than this one.The place is neglected, poorly maintained, the rooms in reality has nothing to do with the images presented in the web site, no elevator, difficult operating the shower and toilets due to broken parts.The are around is full with better alternatives

 "Too hot and way to many stairs/ no cleaner"
we stayed in this apartment for 5 days. We were told it was number 16 so we climbed the stairs of like 6 flights and it wasnt even the right apartment. We were down the street somewhere! So then we had to drag our suitcases up the street and then up another 6 flights of stairs into a hot and stuffy room. There was no aircon, no fan. The window wouldnt stay open we had to tie it up with the blinds. We were told that there would be someone coming to clean room while we were there. When they came they didnt make the bed, they didnt vaccuum and didnt take out the trash. We had 2 massive bags full of rubbish sitting there to be taken. Not impressed.Great location but crap apartment for the money

 "Very disappointing."
Upon arrival we were informed that there would be a "few" stairs, with no assistance to carry luggage we climbed six flights of stairs (some very steep) and arrived to a very hot, small room. Clean, but with no ventalation other than the hallway door and the street side window. With no fan or air conditioning, the room was very uncomfortable and noisy. This is a very busy street! Buses, trucks, cars and people travel throughout the night, every sound is audible. In addition, the youth hostel is just down the street and the late night partying is very loud and annoying. Very difficult to get a good night's rest. Only real positive comment is the location was good for public transportation.

 "Practical and well located but inequalities of quality and poor service"
Mitigated as we had a completely different perception from one room to the other. We had booked 2 rooms of equal standard, but it turned out that one was much more agreable than the other by its surface and location (one quite large and view on the quiet patio ; the other small with view on the noisy street). Rooms were clean when we arrive but the room service was supposed to clean on the 3rd day. As we were leaving on the 4th, they just threw clean towels without taking the others, no cleaning at all, not even a refill of toilet paper in the bathroom... The walls are really too thin and there's absolutely no privacy. We had to hear our neighbours talking until 1am.Except from that, the room, kitchen and bathroom were clean and working ; the Bayswater / Queensway / Kensington Gardens location is really perfect to visit the city.

 "Great Value"
Brilliant location next to Bayswater station with loads of shops and take aways which is ideal for self catering!!! Room was smaller than the pictures illustrate but big enough to be comfortable. Amazing value for the money paid, will definitely come back.

 "A good night's sleep ... or more :-)"
Small apartment with everything we needed for staying comfortably four nights in London. The wooden floors were good for my allergies and the brand new bathroom was sooo nice, but not big. A huge person wouldn't be able to squeeze into the shower. The fourth floor was very quiet - actually the entire street was a quite hotel street. And the next road over was full of restaurants of so many nationalities - and two underground stations: Quensway and Bayswater! - Hyde Park was also very close, across from Queensway Station.

 "Terrible Hotel"
We´ve stayed there 3 days and the first thing I did was to desinfect and clean the room. There were stains in the closet from the former guests and many hairs on the floor. The walls were very thin and clairaudient and we could hear the people in the neighbor-rooms clearly. The only positive thing was the location of the hotel. it is very close to hyde park and knightsbridge. Undergroundstation is just 3 minutes away. But I still would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! There are many other good hotels with a good location.
