 "The service staff at the restaurant and bar were great"
Pros: The service staff at the restaurant and bar were great. they were friendly, attentive and a joy to watch work. we own a restaurant and know the importance of good servers....these ranked at the top!
Cons: The original hotel that we had a reservation for, evidently overbooked and we were moved to this hotel. not a big deal, but, a bit inconvenient when we just drove 10 hours. when we got to this hotel, i found the front desk staff to be very unfriendly. they were going to put us in a room with two doubles, and, advised that the kings were sold out. when i told her that we'd reserved a king, only then did she re-check to find that a king had miraculously appeared and was available. we also asked to extend our room by one night and was told that this hotel was now overbooked. we then moved over to the marriott, where we were very welcomed and had a great stay.
