Stay there for 3 nights,wonderful location,,plenty of shops,restaurant,market,metro just outside hotel.only downside is that the is street is quite noisy until 3am.i definitely recommend this hotel for its location and price.

Cheap hotel in the heart of Barcelona, located near Rambla in the charming and lively Gothic area. The hotel is clean, the rooms small but that's understandable, cannot have anything bigger for this price. Service friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

We would definately stay at this hotel again purely for it's location, its just off Las Ramblas but within easy access to some great bars and restraunts that are authentic and much lower priced than the touristy and very pricey Las Ramblas. The rooms are a little basic but clean and comfortable for the time spent in them and the towels were changed every day, very impressed!!!!

50 yards from La Ramblas, so a great location. Highly reccommended. Nice balcony in the room, overlooking the narrow street; but note these street -side rooms can be noisy.

Nice location, clean hotel, very good service. Noise in the night is too high, but I am not sure that hotel can do anything since it is into the street in front of the hotel.

If you come to Barcelona just to party and sleep very little then I recommand you this hotel because it is near the Ramblas, the main street of Barcelona which is always buzzing with activity and because generally the other residents are very noisy and the rooms are not at all soundproof. As for me, the nearness of the hotel to the center of the city and the low price are the only advantages. The cons are that you are always disturbed by the noise in the street ad the other rooms (up until 5 am), the service is poor, if you want to take your breakfast within the hotel, you must pay a hefty sum and lastly you will be lucky if they give you access to the internet because during our stay they always had an excuse not ot give us the passwords for it.

As there were 11 lads on a stag do we weren't looking for an expensive & luxury hotel. Hotel Condal was more than what we needed. Given that the rooms were very clean & ideally located we all felt that we'd had more than good value for money.

Very simple, clean, great location. I had a room with the windows inside the building, so I really missed fresh air. I think hotel is great for few nights stay. Good value for money.

Location is perfect, rooms was clean and tidy.One down side was very noisy, we stayed for 6 nights and all has been sleepless.

The room is clean and nice with a small so called balcony. The hotel is very close to the Rambla - perfect! many nice bars are around. supermarkets around. In nighttime it is a bit loud, because many people passing by during a the night.

Pros: Service was pleasant, the room was spotless, beds comfortable. a no-frills hotel in a great location.
Cons: Small bathtub with shower outlet that wasn't attached to the wall.during the original booking the hotel charged us twice for the room.immediately after i pointed this out to them they credited us - but i still lost money because the currency exchange rate had changed.
