 "Great Location"
Dublin isn't too big of a city, but still the location of the Grafton Capital is nearly unbeatable. Close to Grafton St and St. Stephens Green, not far at all from the National Museums and Temple Bar, and still in a pretty quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff, and great rooms especially for the price we paid. Only slight issue is that there was a party going in the restaurant directly below us and the noise wafted up late at night, but not too loud as to not sleep very well.

 "Nic,e value for money ,some issues"
Nice, old-style hotel in the midlle of the centre where it all happens. Though the windows and curtains garantee a good night's rest. Very friendly personel . Free WiFi available only in the lobby, no alternative in the rooms (which is not very convenient). Funny litlle blunder is that there's simply not enough light in the rooms; working at the desk or finding all stuff when leaving during dark is very difficult (and my eyes are quite OK :)). No minibar or vending machine available; so outside opening hours of bar & restaurant you will stay thirsty and hungry. Anyway I would choose it again; the location and atmosphere make it a winner.

Cons: The room we were given was directly above the entrance to the bar/nightclub and the noise was unbearable even at 4.00am. no soundproofing to speak of, was one of te worst nights sleep i've ever had. if booking this hotel make sure your room is nowhere near the street side.

 "Position of the hotel very good"
Pros: Position of the hotel very good.reception staff were most pleasant and helpful in every respect. room as expected and clean with towels daily. breakfast (we took it only 1 day) was good and 1 waitress quite pleasant though we were left to our own devices once 2 slices of toast arrived with no follow up of any other toast or anything else! also there was only 1 window seat available, the rest were sectioned off by dining room chairs so the experience of sitting overlooking the 'square' lost...except we asked if we could move to the window and after saying yes the waitress left us to move the chairs and set our own table saying, ' just use the stuff on the other tables!' experience spoilt and left with the impression that more thought need to be given to this part of the day.
Cons: As above and would put situation down to training and supervision of staff rather than individual attitudes.

Temple bar is a landmark close to this accommodation; Halfpenny Bridge and Iveagh Gardens are nearby as well.
