About us The inn “Osteria del Borgo” is administered by Mrs. Nadia. The guestrooms are located in a Historical Medieval Building near Piazza Grande, in the heart of Montepulciano’s historical center. It was recently restored and it’s composed of two very elegant and refined apartments. The apartment that faces Via Ricci is on two levels; on the first floor we have a double room with a full bath and a hydro massage shower cabin, a very bright and cosy living room, with a kitchen corner. On the second floor you can find a double and single room with a private bath and a whirlpool tub. Also the traditional Tuscan furnishings with corners apt for reading or just simply for relaxing make you feel as if you were at home. The entire living quarters have wooden floors and linings; there is also a living room with and old fireplace which constitutes the heart of the room itself. The apartment that faces the hills of Siena offers an enchanted view to the wondering eye, with the Temple of Saint Biagio of the San Gallo the Old. The apartment is also on two levels; on the first floor there is a bedroom with a small living room and a bath with a hydro massage shower cabin. The living room has a very particular loft with a kitchen corner. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms with baths and hydro massage shower cabins. On the ground floor you will find the tavern also known in Italian as the “Osteria”, an architectural structure with barrel vaults which must probably date back to the Etruscan era and a breath taking terrace which attracts tourists from all around the world. The location of the building offers our guests the possibility of visiting the Historical Center on foot and in the Summer season our Piazza Grande (our main square) plays host to a variety of musical and theatrical events, an assurance that your nights will be unforgettable.
