 "An average hotel just as expected"
Very briefly : Just as expected more of a tired 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Location however is superbly convenient - just accross the train station and at the end of bus 6 which takes you straight to the airport hassle free. 5 minute walk to the centre of gorgeous Treviso. Room - very plain and basic (almost 2star style!) yet clean and size was ok. Service - well...could do with a smile i guess. Lift - horrendously ugly. Breakfast - well...abit sad. Price - not too bad. I rated this hotel as 3/5 yet it's more a 2.5/5. If only management would adopt some changes it could be a really pleasant hotel. I've been to some bed and breakfasts in italy (even in Treviso itself!) where the breakfast was a feast. The breakfast in this hotel is totally uneventful. I think i would stick to my 30euro per night bed and breakfast rather than revisit this hotel at least for now.

 "This hotel needs to improve its facilities"
The hotel needs total refurbishment. The rooms are shabby - the wallpaper and paintwork are scuffed - and the decor is depressing. The bathroom and plumbing are completely worn out and the plumbing broke down twice while we were there. The staff are helpful, friendly and polite. For a 4 star hotel the breakfasts were extremely inadequate.

 "50 meters from the station"
Location was very good. Breakfast good though i would have liked some bacon and eggs.Treviso is the perfect city for a week-end. All the shops are at easy walking distance.

 "When tired"
Convenient to rail station and easy to get to from the airport in Treviso. After a very long day flying, was nice to get to a hotel that was clean and comfortable. People working there very nice and eager to help. For one or two nights, this place works very well.

 "Hotel Continental Treviso"
The Continental is a fine old 4Star Hotel which has unfortunately seen better days and needs a lot of work done to it's infastructure to justify a 4Star rating.In our room there was a free standing combined Air Conditioner/De Humidifier connected into the wall by a large flexible tube and it was very noisy.The Bathroom had a bath with Shower Connection but no stand up facility or Screen and the Door needed re painting.In general it needs some attention to justify it's rating but despite this it is in an excellent location by the Old City Walls just 50mtrs from the Bus Station , 200mtrs from the Railway Station and the Local Bus (No6) from the Airport stops 20mtrs away.

Pros: Nice and warm during very cold weather. good breakfast. helpful staff at the front desk. comfortable. very well cleaned every day. very good location and excellent value for money.

The Hotel is aimed above all at those guests looking for that something extra when they visit a city on holiday or for work. Guests who love particular settings, period decor and atmospheres reminiscent of the early 1900s will find what they're looking for at the Continental.The communal areas are truly special (the bar, for example, features a very original counter), while many of the rooms, with all the comforts typical of a modern hotel, offer far from ordinary settings and furnishings.But it is nevertheless a modern structure (built in 1958 and renovated several times) and thus offers high standard services.Four well-equipped meeting rooms seating up to 80 people are available for meetings and small congresses.At any time its staff, trained to serve Italian and foreign business and holiday guests, can provide rapid check-in and check-out services, together with information on the city, offices, restaurants and transport.The hotel is situated in the centre of Treviso, a few metres from the train and coach stations and near the cultural, business and historical heart of the city.
