 "Good location some drawbacks..."
Rooms are very small indeed - with two people in, one has to stay on the bed! At least it meas the aircon is very effective! Bathroom had some nasty smells from the plumbing, though shower etc. was all fine. No outside view, but then again no outside noise in ours... However, any nightime activity within the hotel itself is noisy (doors shutting etc.). Staffing of 24 hour reception good and staff work hard cleaning and organising but there is no hotel service as such. We brought our own stuff and used the excellent roof terrace at the back. Good cheap, well-located (5 mins to town) place for backpacker types, not us. Also area is a little seedy and the nearest cafe is awful - head towards town centre.

 "First Time in Faro"
I would Like to tell it was very nice staying in this hostel, Faro is very nice and silent city and it seemed to be normal Portugal city with very friendly living people (residents) . The walkings, viewing and feeling the athmosphere of Portugease living was for us very excting and pleasent. The Sao Filipe and The owner of this hostel is worth of your time for planing yours very nice vacations . With kind regards Tomasz W. From Poland

Our establishment consists of eleven bedrooms where weoffer you tranquillity, with a warm and friendly atmosphere,providing our guests to the ultimate personalised service. This is without a doubt our most important attribute. Each of our rooms have their own bathroom, cable TV, air conditioned and heating. We also have the facilities of a bar and laundry service. Should you wish to sit back and relax, our lounge area offers you a wide variety of videos, allowing you a vast selection.The breakfast service is a request and happen only during the months of June, July and August, this service is not included in the room rate. We have alarm connected to the reception in all bathrooms and even the security system and detection of fire in the building.
