 "Nice budget hotel"
I have no complaints so I recommend this place! But if you are coming from Sabiha Gökcen Airport it´s better to stay somewhere in Taksim or Kadiköy from where you can take a big, cheap and comfortable bus. From Sultanahmet you have to take a taxi.

 "Classic, but timeless turkish decor"
Pros: Classic, but timeless turkish decor. cozy and comfortable. friendly staff. walking distance from old city istanbul attractions (blue mosque, iya sofia, araasta bazaar, countless restaurants).
Cons: Some difficulty communicating with staff in english. small tv, with only turkish-language programming (but you don't go to istanbul to watch tv!)
