Plaza Hotel London    

For the price paid I didn't expect luxury but what a shock!!!! Old discusting carpets, shower cubicle in the room dirty and not even fixed to the floor or wall with dripping water on the already damp carpet! hairs and bugs / insects (both alive and dead) in the sheets!!! Old single glazed windows, result being cold and very drafty in the room and extremely noisy! The seperate toilets and bathroom on the corridor had doors that didn't close / lock or both and constantly had water all over the floor!! The breakfast was very minimal but the staff spoke little or NO english at all so was difficult to ask for anything else!! LUCKILY we were only staying for one night because even if the payment was non refundable, I wouldn't have stayed there a single moment more!!!

Pros: Good location, although closer to shepherds bush than hammersmith. eggs, toast, beans for breakfast. shower in room. we thought we'd be checking in by midnight but a delayed flight and cancelled train had us checking in at 4 am, the man was lovely and welcoming when we strolled that late.
Cons: The lady cooking breakfast seemed miserable and make the lovely experience avoidable. lots of stairs, no lift. old carpet, our room was located near the water tanks. high price for what you get.

Pros: Staff really helpful when i wanted to store bag for three days. really helped me and appreciated.

Pros: Good location, refrigerator, shower in the room
Cons: Very small, i saw a mouse in my room, very noisy, poor breakfast, always many indians on reception (it is indian hotel), no card payment, 70 pounds were reserved from my account, but didn't turn back

Pros: The hotel was very clean and well presented for a budget hotel. the staff were very polite.
Cons: The rooms at the front of the hotel only have single pane windows so with the traffic passing all the time it was a little noisy even at night.
