 "could be much much much better..."
they did a error on my reservation so I and my son sleep on a house near the hotel. And when we arrived on the house in stead to have 2 separates beds they put one big bed. Very desorganised. they are not clear to about the acceptation of dogs. Theu said that we could take our dog but when we arrived we saw that they are not prepared for it. Very very desorganised but it's because, mabem the owner it's is not there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 star Bed & Breakfast Casa 579 is located in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro. With excellent facilities and an amazing roof terrace with 180 degree views of Rio de Janeiro, the "Cristo Redentor", Sugar Loaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay, this affordable B&B is a convenient and charming alternative to the rather soulless upscale Copacabana and Ipanema hotels, and a unique opportunity to discover a genuine Rio de Janeiro.Lapa, famous for its Samba clubs and home to Rio's nightlife and the downtown business district are within a 10 minute drive, either by bus, taxi or tram ride away and the famous sights of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain and the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema are just 15 minutes away. Transport stops right outside the house to take you to all the places you need to go (bus, tram or kombi).The house has been the site of fashion shoots and TV documentaries thanks to the stunning views from the panoramic roof terrace. The house also has a spacious and comfortable lounge area, and a great choice of accommodation. Among the come-again guests to B&B Casa 579; a family of monkeys and a toucan, staying in the trees visible from the breakfast area!Xmas & New Year / Carnival:• Please note for these periods we have a 4 night min stay for New Year (29 Dec - 02 Jan) and a 6 night stay for Carnival (04-10 March 2011), bookings will not be accepted for part of these dates. If you book on the system for less than the required package nights or at rates less than the full package rates, we will not be able to honour your booking and we will not be responsible for any deposits paid. We also require 50% payment in advance for these packages ( and the balance is payable 1 month before check-in) and we will contact you once we have received your booking to process this. •For New Year and Carnival we can be flexible on the dates as long as 4 (New Year) and 6 (Carnival) nights are booked at the Carnival rate - contact us if in doubt!
