 "I hated the stay."
My first thought when I walked in was Its funky but cool, then we started walking up to Our room and it smelled like straight crap. The room was super tiny , the restroom was moldy and just ewwww horrible ,I just hated it!

 "Exceptional for 2 Star"
Great Service all round, Clean rooms and friendly staff. Get 190 Bus from the top the road, the bus stop is on the roundabout, 15 min bus ride to the nearest Metro (Marie De Issy) which connects to the Green Metro line and you can go any where in Paris.

Majority of hotel staff were very rude and unhelpful! We only came across one helpful receptionist during our stay of 4 nights. The hotels breakfast was value for money. Close to a supermarket and a few restuarants which was good!

Pros: Hotel du trosy is located in the suburbs of paris and so is away from the main hubbub of the city centre. it is directly on a bus route that serves the local rer station at meurdon val fleury and these run every 10 or 15 minutes throughout the day. we found the trosy area very pleasant with plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and a market to serve the majority of needs. a tourist information office is located by the market where we found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful.
Cons: Hotel du trosy is over a mile away from the nearest rer station and this is quite a walk if you are unaware of the bus routes. if you need to get into the centre of paris on a regular basis it requires a few bus/rail/metro changes.

 "Got back on the 19th august 2011, the hotel suites well for a low budget..."
Pros: Got back on the 19th august 2011, the hotel suites well for a low budget trip, it was clean and staff was good too, the location is good, as its in a quiet area, and transport is easy to access with few local shops around, i did not use hotel for food, so can't comment, overall the hotel is good.
Cons: However the bathroom had a fault with the water not draining quickly enough
