Pension Stoi was a wonderful surprise on arriving in Innsbruck. It was an easy walk from the train station and not far from the center of old town. The room was ample in size with a small but very functional shower / toilet arrangement attached to the room. The manager was very helpful - showed us the room personally and helped with maps for the town and guidance based on our questions. And the price was very reasonable.

 "Nice, clean and cheap"
The only con of this Pension is the lack of elevator, besides that is great. Be aware it is a pension, so there is a common shower and separate toilet, but they are super clean, and all the rooms have a sink.It is very close to the main train station, and a very clean and simple room. It is a perfect place for a short trip.

Pros: Good location for exploring innsbruck (all within walking distance) and even closer location to the railway station for exploring further afield. clean and good sized room.
Cons: Very basic, but then again this is reflected in the price and star rating.

The Pension allows to keep a tight budget while staying in a central location, a short walk from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof train station, the university campus and the tourist sites of the old town, such as the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof) Palace and Innsbruck Dom cathedral. The Pension Stoi opens all year long and welcomes guest in a friendly family atmosphere. The rooms offer a neat and cosy décor, and can be lend for short as well as longer stay: a cheap alternative to a hotel. There is no breakfast service on site, but guests can purchase hot beverages at the vending machine in the lobby or try the many delicious Austrian bakeries and coffee-shops located in the immediate vicinity of the Pension.
