"Paper Thin Walls"

I stayed in this Hotel with my boyfriend, it was a lovely clean hotel and good location. there was a lot of students staying in this hotel. The rooms were not massive but just enough for a city break. apart from the Neighbours next door to us keeping us awake most nights with there Rude Antics!!!!!! Also making stupid siren noises and walking up and down corridors with heals on. I wouldnt reccomend this hotel if you are older or the noise would be an issue. Ricardo on reception was lovely and helpful. But most of the guests would do nothing but stare at you like you was an alien.

"Fab accommodation"

Myself and my partner where in Barcelona for the F1 Grand Prix so wanted somewhere close to renfe and metro lines. Accommodation was in good location, just two tube stops from catalunya and two from clot station to get the renfe train to the track. We had a studio room, it was small but very clean and well laid out and all we needed for the short time we were actually on the room. Cafe was open late which we used a few times and reception staff were helpful and efficient 24hours. We didn't use the pool on the roof but got an amazing view of the city from there. All in all reasonable price and super hotel.

"Loved it"

Me and my boyfriend, both 19, stayed here for 3 nights. We loved the hotel, it was very modern and I couldn't believe it was only 1 starAll staff were very helpful and welcoming, I highly recommend for young people.

"City Break"

we stayed at Melon District for 8 nights. On first viewing we wondered what we had done as the room was very compact. But once we had unpacked and sorted out where things were, kitchen lounge was very well equipped. One tip is that you get a lockable shelf in the fridge so best to take a small pad lock. We had no trouble but it is a shared area so it will depend on who is there. You look after your room yourselves, towels, bedding and toilet rolls are supplied. The shower was modern and good hot water. The cafe below was good for breakfast. We ate out quite a lot while we were in the City. The travel cards are good and this accommodation is very near to Metro and Tram system.

"Barcelona"

Hotel is actually a student residence which I was not aware-You will have to pay extra to have your bed sheet and towels replaced-also your room-location is next to a funeral parlor and deserted waste land and railway tracks- not a pretty sight-the Ac is extremely noisy- if you open your windows you get the street noise(24 hours) and mosquitoes that are really ferocious-the rooms are pretty small(we took the best one!) and the bathroom is tiny-What made the difference was the reception staff who were great and tried their best to make our stay comfortable-I applaud them!

"Great place to stay!"

The staff were all very friendly and spoke fluently in a variety of different languages! The room was small, but plenty of storage space and very clean. The room was cleaned (and all bed linen and towels replaced) to a very high standard half way through our stay. The shared kitchen/living area was large and very well equipped. The roof terrace and pool was just what we needed after a day out sightseeing! It was located a 5 minute walk from the Marina metro stop and about a 15 minute walk to the beach, the only downside was the walk to the beach seemed to go through a dodgy area, but that could have easily been avoided! Overall, a great place to stay, I have already recommended to friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

"Great weekend!!!"

Fab hotel for holiday with friends. Great location to sightsee. Beautiful rooftop pool with 360 views! Fantastic value for money!!! And there are cooking facilities on each floor of hotel were you can eat and drink!

"Nice Holiday"

5 stars for all !!!We enjoyed the stay so much we intend to book again next year some time in August probably.The only very minor disapointment was that we could not go out on the balcony outside our room (A 114), but I guess this is for health & safety reasons and it certainly would not put us off returning.Many thanks

"Modern"

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in the Melon District...the room we had was very nice not to small. Only they didn't clean the whole toilet, but everything else was pretty clean. Because we stayed 7 days you get a free cleaningservice, but if you stay shorter then that you have to pay for cleaningservice. So that can be something that you will need to consider if you wanna stay at the Melon District. They have 7 buildings and a lot of young people stay there for a holiday or because they are students. It's really moderd and nice, liked the people who work there . Because it's so modern and a lot of diffrent young people are staying there it's a good hotel for people around 18-28 . Close by the beach and close to the city, that was a big plus

"Worth the Price"

The best thing is its location. It's close to two metro lines, only 3 stops away from city center. In addition, it's right next to Tram stop. So, moving about is very easy and fun. Well, the rooms aren't large and if you plan to stay indoors then you might find rooms to be claustrophobic. The staff is awesome, very well educated in English and willing to take the extra step to make your stay comfortable. I certainly stay here If I come to Barcelona again... for a very simple reason... its worth every penny you spend.

"Good for citytrip Barcelona"

Nice hotel for a citytrip Barcelona.Metro station about 2 min walking.The room is small but if you are in Barcelona for a citytrip this doesn't matter because you don't stay in your room al the time.On the rooftop is a nice swimmingpool, super for the summer/spring times.

Pros: Close to metro, high security, sound-proof rooms, clean, new.
Cons: The fridge in our floor was broken and never repaired during our 4-days stay.
providing a little soap in the rooms would have been a cheap but quite nice touch.
rooms are small (ours was a double room), but efficiently (i wouldn't say nicely) designed.
