First time I have stayed at hotel, chosen from reviewing previous reviews for hotels in the location for visit. I have to say the hotel lived up to review and was great value and very friendly service from all the staff.

"Perfect location"

This hotel is VERY small but I guess for London, that is expected. The best thing about this place was the easy access to the Earl's Court tube station - made navigating London as easy as it could be. Staff were very accommodating and the light continental breakfast was adequate.

the rooms are clean staff very friendly and helpful one of our two rooms we booked was very small but after we asked for a bigger room they give us a suit for the rest of our stay breakfast is the only thing that can be a bit better anyway very lovely

"Very friendly hotel"

Nice hotel next to the underground. Very friendly service. If you look for a affordable hotel with big rooms for a whole family, this is a great choice. The furniture of the room was quite worn out and the TV was old.

Nice little hotel, clean, good service. Friendly staff, very helpful. Perfect location. Complimentary breakfast (continental; not much choice but enough to get you started). Only drawback: Rooms very warm, no air conditioning.

"Friendly staff"

Service at this hotel was excellent. I dropped my bag off three hours prior to check in and when I returned to checkin my bag was already waiting for me in my room. The staff were always greeted you with a smile, something which has been lacking at other hotels that I have stayed at. They offer free photocopying and wifi which is a bonus. The only downside was that the room was extremely small and the television reception wasnt great.

"nice little friendly hotel"

I arrived at the Amsterdam Hotel with my mum and 2 teenage daughters to a warm welcome from the staff at the front desk.We had booked a family room and was given room 4 which unfortunatly wasnt one of the newly refurbished rooms.The bathroom was old and dated and the two single beds were raised on another level with very narrow steps leading to them,with not enough head room meaning a sore head every time you stood up from your bed if you forgot the ceiling was so low!!!On returning from our night out i asked if it would be possible to change rooms and was told he would pass my request onto the morning staff.The next morningwe were offered another room on the top floor which was lovely,nice new bathroom and immaculatly clean(the whole hotel was spotless).Couldnt fault the staff,extremley helpful,ordered our taxi to take my daughter to a dance audition,rang round for the best price,very helpful with any enquiry.The location is perfect,2 mins walk from earl court tube.Plenty of shops eg;co-op,starbucks,greggs,costa,Boots.A great little hotel which was spotlessly clean and friendly staffOnly downside was the breakfast was that brilliant,we didint bother going down the second day.

Cons: Freezing cold room, bed too short, poor selection at breakfast and started clearing away when we were still eating, milk etc in the room wasn't refilled.
