Had a lovely stay here, only a couple of downsides one being towels only changed every three days which in my opinion is not great for hygiene purposes, I personally think they should be changed daily. Secondly the step from the kitchen at the back door going out to the chalets out the back is quick steep and dangerous at night when you have to take a couple of steps before the light sensors come on. The rooms are small but are immaculate, very warm, bed very comfortable, all mod cons, breakfast nice, the staff were really nice, very reasonable in price and so close to the tube.

too high price for a stay in a boxroom - entrance to the room through small black dilapidated door, i would say no windows (window direct to the wall). i can understand that it was the last available room but price for this room can't be 75 pounds.

Pros: Nice relaxed place.
Cons: From the information at the booking page i did not see that in order to pay with the pre-authorized credit card a 2% surcharge would be added.
the other payment alternative was to pay by cash, but in advance. i can't recall ever being asked to pay in advance at any (brand name) hotel.

Cons: My reservation indicated that an additional person will be charged 15 pounds. the hotel manager, however, said that it was 20 pounds but she finally agreed to 15 when we did not ask for additional bed. we did not expect her to change her mind during the night and say that we needed to pay 20 pounds now if the extra person in our company had to have breakfast as well. we had the impression that breakfast was already included in the 15 pounds we paid. she should have made it clear to us beforehand. we paid the 20 pounds, anyway, but we were not happy about it.

we were not also informed that there is no water in the shower until 7:00 in the morning.
