This hotel is excellently located for the Aerobus to and from the airport being located very close to the drop of point on Espana square with local shops and restaurants all around. Tour buses (red line) also pick up and drop off very close by. The rooms on the front face the main road and are very warm. Beds are firm but for the location,cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff I recommend the hotel for a short stay. Mid week stays are considerably cheaper than weekends.I don't recommend the self service breakfast as this is overpriced and is a bit of a scrum to get what you want if the hotel is busy.

Good location for airport buses and Metro. Bus stop a few metres from hotel, Metro just a little further. Metro two stops to airport train. Good and easy to negotiate Metro.Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had good variety. My room was cleaned well daily and had a good shower. The room was quiet and away from traffic noise. On the Placa d' Espana there is a shopping centre and on the top floor are some nice restaurants and view. Barcelona is great and I think I got a good value for money deal on the hotel

Nice modern feel to the hotel, with a central location, and just 100 metres from Metro. Bit pricey but I had stayed with the Ayre chain before and knew what I was getting for it. Coffee making facilities in the rooms would have been good though.

Excellent central location especially for the marathon. Very close to airport bus service too.Asked for a quiet room and certainly got one.

Hard mattress but very modern and clean. Free wireless internet in rooms however somewhat skeptical on how secure the connection was. Buffet breakfast was over priced and location was ok; about 15-20 min walk to Las Rambalas. Room service food was terrible

Pros: All the hotel staff are very professional and friendly
Cons: Not quite a 4 star hotel. overuse of halogen lamps throughout the hallway, activated by motion sensor; it would be better if there are more ambient lighting, not tasking light. the bed is not comfortable and moves easily when one leans against the headboard. light control in the room is very poor. one can't control the light fixtures above the closet and headboard independently without leaving the table lamp on; all the fixtures (except bedside led lamps and bathroom light) and electrical outlet are tied to a master 3-way switch. it is just very weird how they set up the lighting system and control.

Pros: Ideal location -central -for seeing all the great cultural sites in barcelona and not far from the airport.very helpful reception staff and excellent breakfast with a fantastic choice.would recommend and certainly will stay again

Pros: We stayed there for 5 nights. the location is okay, it's close to the metro so was relatively easy... you can walk to the centre in about 20-25 mins. i gotta say that under the sun, it felt quite a bit longer ... but still manageable. the hotel is clean, room was decent size, and hotel staff was helpful.
Cons: It would be nicer to have a kettle or coffee maker in the room.
