Nemo Apartments-Waterloo Amsterdam  

Nemo apartment is a very nice place located 15 minutes from the party district. With a view on the canal, safe at night, and a friendly host!I'll definitly come back to Amsterdam, and I'll definitly come back to Nemo's!

The apartment was lovely and cosy, very homely and had everthing you could need. It was a little bit outside of the city center, but nothing that a 20minute walk could not fix. My only problem with the place was the owner. She lived in the apartment under us and was rude and didnt seem to understand that when people are staying in her ''holiday apartments'' the people are on HOLIDAY! she complained that we were loud which we may have been a little bit but we had saved all year for that holiday we are not going to be whispering to each other and she had issues that we got up at 9 one morning! the reason we were up early was to clean her apartment and she still had issues no thanks. I suggest if you dont want your life interfered with by people on holiday, dont live in the holiday apartment!!! Other than the uncomfortable and unnecessary encounters with the owner the place was great, but i wont be returning due to those issues.

nice place to stay but make sure room is clean before checking out ie: make sure u read the rule book and u will not get a telling of ;) would definatley stay again.

Our stay was good and comfortable.The landlady was very frindly and helpfull.We can recommend Nemo Apartmenst as a good location

This is a very good apartment if you want to stay near the Amsterdam city centre but still be in a quiet neighborhood. Katie was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about how to go about Amsterdam, buying groceries, etc. Apartment is clean and had everything we need. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Amsterdam.

A friend and I stayed in the top floor apartment in their house near the botanicals.In a word. Perfect. Had a great time in Amsterdam and the fact the apartment was absolutely bada*s just made the trip.

Pros: Apartment was amazing! really lovely place, the owner katja is amazingly helpful! and made us feel very welcome! i didn't want to come home! i would deffernetly stay here again, and would highly recommend to anyone!!

Pros: Katie the owner was really helpfull and nice. location is not to far from all of the action and nightlife and has beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Basement apartment is a bit small in living area, but the main bedroom and bathroom are of a good size. staying in the basement you can here the neighbours above you arriving home early in the morning but if you are a heavy sleeper this wont bother you.

Pros: Big appartment, had everything we needed -even coffee, books and dvds-. also, great view of the canal from our window. the decoration was a little bit crazy, with some really old and beautiful furniture and a brand new renovated bathroom, but we found this contrast quite interesting.

katie, the landlady, was really helpfull, gave us every information we needed, maps, advice etc and generally she was really cool.

i would definitely recommend it to a group of 3-4 friends.
Cons: The beds mattresses were not very comfortable, but that's not something to deter you from staying there

Pros: Quite simply the best place to stay in amsterdam. cool staff. cool room. cool vibe.
Cons: Got a little lost and the bolt on the front door stranded us outside for a bit.

Pros: Local was very nice, quite and close to supermarket. hot water 24/7. good variety of tv channels. easy access to dam square within walking distance,tram just over the road
Cons: Double bed is only two singles together lighhting bit poor in living area. aprtmt 181 situtated behind fire station lot of sirens as near hospital as well

Pros: Lovely spacious comfy rooms - good to return to after a chill out day in amsterdam. landlady very helpful + friendly. can help yourself to selection of stuff left by previous occupants at no charge - nice this when it includes beer! very smoker friendly accommodation - can smoke what you want when you want in your room... ;o)
Cons: Make sure you can negotiate steep stairs!! also, make sure you have the phone number of the landlady on arrival as there is no way she will hear you through that 3 ton door!

Pros: Very grand entrance to the nemo building, and the appartment was big and very clean. the owner katja was very helpful and made us feel very comftable. i would definatly stay here again as i think it was was best stay in amsterdam so far.

Cons: Had to pay 100 euros for key which we did not know about, also 10 euros to empty bins
