City Park Hotel Sant Just Sant Just Desvern  

Pros: Whilst rooms are vey basic there is a good bathroom and small fridge in the room. rooms cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels
Cons: Hotel is at least 1hr from centre of barcelona and there is absoutely nothing to do at or near the hotel.you need to take 2 trams and 1 metro to barcelona centre. there was only 1 receptionist at any time to manage the reception and the bar which was rarely stocked with soft drinks, water, ice and we had to purchase a bottle opener for the staff to open any drinks we were able to purchase. there was a mediocre coffee machine but the receptionist was unable to use it. we often felt that we were an inconvenience to the staff when asking for information or drinks. the breakfast was a disgrace - ice cold scrambled eggs, stale mini croissants and bad coffee.

Cons: No air conditioning. we were never compensated for the fact that they put us in a room that had no air conditioning. the director probably ended up their with connections as he was never sure of what was going on and avoided taking responsibility of his staff and only gave empty promises. the dishes and glasses in the breakfast room always had stains on them.

Pros: I am afraid we don't have
Cons: Reservation: when we arrived our reservation was not known
beside that the room was not available at the time what was in the confirmation and we had to wait at least for 3 hours. the staff didn't speak any other language then spanish. we made a reservation for 3 pers. but there was linen account 2 people. breakfast was well below the arrow no cutlery, no table cover, no clean dishes no staff, no stock of siege, barely any hot food cold sandwiches, etc. in connection with defective material. complain at reception and manager (3x) did not lead to solving the problems.

Pros: Value for money
Cons: So far away from the city centre

Cons: It was smoker room , and we are not inform about this

Pros: Comfortable room and facilities
Cons: 1.) breakfast is not up to mark. 2.) in the bathroom water was leaking first day. i complained and they did something. 2nd day mroning again it was leaking - somewhere from the roof. it was atrocious 3.) my name was not in when i reached hotel, though the printout showed my name as guest. later realised that the system had name of person who used his credit card to book my room.

Pros: Clean modern rooms
Cons: Air conditioning did not work
kettle not provided for hot drinks

Pros: They were helpful when possible, the rooms were lovely
Cons: Although the majority of the staff was helpful, the one male night porter was very unhelpful and it was my impression that when we had money stolen and needed to pay for the taxi in other means that he made the situation worse. which brings me to my other point of how when we had been about 10km away from our hotel with no possibility of recieving extra money-after our original funds had been stolen-the hotel showed no interest in our situation, refused to pay and offered no other suggestions.

Pros: Quite far from the city ,infact in a different city and not in barcelona.
