Great location. Very clean. Very practical. Good service. No frills. No cupboards in bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Great concept - ideal for solo travellers or for those seeking clean, comfortable accommodation in great central location at reasonable cost.

Excellent service!! the Humans service were great and helpful. the room was always clean and Settled. in our room was a small balcony to the street and it was beautiful...we loved it!!. the breakfast was average and adjusted to the standards of the hotel. the hotel is near by to the plaza catalunya...15 minutes of walking and the metro 5 minutes from the hotel. if you want a reasonable price and a high quality this is the place! :))

It's a nice hotel about 15 mins walk fra Plaza Catalunya. I travelled alone and I therefore godt at singleroom, which was small. It was ok, but lacked at closet for my clothes. I would stay there again

the rooms were a little bit small and the lady at the information desk didn't give very good information, but the hotel, the room and the location were excelent. a very good hotel for a short citytrip

This hotel was just OK, the rooms were very, very small. For the price I would have rather have stayed in El Born or an area closer to the restaurants.

Nice clean modern room not far from all the tourist stuff. Was able to walk to my pick up points for tours. Staff helpful.

Generally a good hotel.Wardrobe in the room should have been.Clothes hanger in the bathroom should have been.

Me and a friend stayed at the Praktik for one night fairly central location . The rooms were very clean and modern would certainly stay there again.

This hotel was close to nost points of interests or the metro for transportation. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and spoke good English.

Good, clean, efficient, friendly and well placed - not in the frenzy but just a 10 minute walk away from it.Not sure what the system with towel laundering is - some information in the room about that would be useful as I never like to have towels laundered unnecessarily.Thanks for a good stay.

In a city of such extraordinary design, this hotel fails miserably. It does not take a huge amount of money to make a place inviting & a little interesting. From the dirty uninteresting Entrance, to the lift area & corridors, to the stark & almost windowless room, it was all depressing. The Reception staff were not at all interested in their job, & almost appeared to be there under duress. I would not recommend this hotel.

We recently booked a 4 night stay at this hotel in Barcelona while travelling through Europe. I read some good reviews online and the pics looked good so we went for it. Sadly this place did not live up to any expectations.Firstly, the room was nothing like described. BE WARNED, if you arent booking a premium room, with a balcony, your room will be a black hole, similar to a prision cell. The room was awful, with a ancient bathroom that looked more like a public toilet than a hotel. There is no mini bar/fridge, not enough floor space for our 2 hiking packs. the room was like a very basic 1/2 star hotel and frankly Ive stayed in way nicer youth hostels.When we checked in too, the wifi wasnt working when we arrived and we had to wait about 48 hours for it to be fixed. One of the main reasons we choose hotels if for good wifi access, the staff were rude and unaccomodating about this. When the wifi was finally fixed we found out that its not just a free network, but you will only be assigned 1 login per person per room, if you want to connect say your mobile and laptop you cant, only 1.The staff at this hotel were by far its biggest let down. They were beyond unhelpful. Need a laundry? "Don't know". Need a Doctor? "We Cant help you". I asked where was the hospital and they said they didn't really know. They showed me one place on the map that turned out to be a private clinic. Finally I googled for myself an English speaking Doctor and asked the reception to call as there are no phones in the rooms and the internet connection was poor, but was just met with more attitude at asking them to do their job. Sadly, my experience with this hotel's staff really impacted my stay. For its price and location I wouldn't really recommenced this hotel unless you book a premium room and perhaps its much nicer? The reception gave me the feeling had I been spending more money perhaps I would have been treated with a little more respect. What a shame.

The hotel is well situated for all the main sightseeing attractions in Barcelona and is just a short walk from the Girona Metro station. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were clean and adequate although there was no wardrobe - just a few hooks on the wall with clothes hangers. It wasn't a problem for us as we were only staying for a few days. The reception staff were efficient upon check in and the taxi we ordered for our departure was there on time.For a budget hotel it was adequate and as we had expected. We have no complaints.

It was a little bit expensive for what it was. The room was not very clean. The room was also very minimalistic and smal. The location was very good, nearby the sagrada familia and the city centre. The fact that there is a computer you can use, is very nice.

We stayed 7 nights here and were lucky enough to have a room with a small balcony overlooking other houses not road side. The room had wooden shutters which kept noise level down and kept the room dark. The walls between the rooms seemed very thin but luckily our neighbors were quiet Hotel staff were very helpful and the complimentary metro card of 10 rides was excellent. location was great walking distance to La Rambla.The only negative was no tea or coffee making facility in the room

Overpriced but good location, clean rooms. There were 3 staff members at the front desk. The girl was really nice and answered our entire questions, gave advice and suggestions. 2 guys – one with dark hair another with light hair – don’t seem to care, especially the one with dark hair. We asked about the bus route, his answer was “I don’t use the bus; we asked about car parking, his answer was “I don’t have the car”

Small basic, fairly clean Hotel. In my opinion idealy located 20mins walk from tourist centre of Barcelona, with 2 metro stations within10 mins. We visited for the Grand Prix and this hotel is located 5mins from coach pick up drop off point. Friendly & very helpfull reception staff. ps the biggest Bed in creation (and not just because the room was small)

If I come back to Barcelona I would check in at ths hotel again :-) You only have to walk 5 min to the Metro . The starff were very helpful og sweet. Fine breakfirst from cafe round the corner

We were in the hotel 4 years ago and our feeling was even better. More quite in the night for a better sleep quality.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a short trip, just a couple of minutes walk from Passeigh de Gracia and Placa de Catalunya and the Ramblas at less then a 15 minutes walk. Room and bathroon are small but clean and are what you can expect for the price It's a 2 star hotel and I've seen worse.The only really bad thing are the hotel beds, The mattresses are really too hard, we both had pain in our backs, and that's the only reason I wouldn't recommend it.
