Hotel 54 is a very nice little hotel. The location close to the ocean is very good. Bus 17 outside the door going directly in to the center is super! The only thing I wish would have been better at the hotel is the breakfast. That wa s a bit boring. The coffe could also have been better especially when You have a good coffemachine in the bar.I can for sure recommend this hotel!

This hotel is in a great spot by the beach and good restaurants. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the walls are unfortunately paper thin. Good value!

Great location! Terrible beds. Worst bed that I have slept in. Painful! The rooms are big but does not make you feel welcome. Some of the straff was very helpful others not. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Hotel 54 is in a great location in Barceloneta, Barcelona. The room we had was on the first floor. A little smaller than expected but it was clean and uncluttered. The bathroom was very clean and appeared to be new or recently renovated. The breakfast is a self-service buffet-style breakfast, with machine coffee, or an espresso coffee is provided at extra cost. Our room did not have a bar fridge or any tea/coffee making facilities, which is a draw back as there is no place to keep drinks cool during the day. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It would recommend this hotel.

Pros: The only positive experience was that in all my travels i had never seen such a pleasant attendand in the coffee shop during breakfast time. this woman had a smile on her face everyday and made all guests feel so confortable! i cheer for her!
Cons: The room i stayed in 403 had a sewage pipe next to the bed and the room smelled awful no matter what..i had to make a decision whether to keep the window opened during all night in a + - 5 degree temperature or keep warm and keep breathing with that terrible, terrible smell. outrages! i took pictures in case you would like to post it. i couldn’t change rooms because the hotel was full due to the mobile congress and because of that i paid 850,00 euros for 4 nights in a 3 stars hotel!!! you have no idea of the smell i had to put up with.. if i could i´d turn them in to public health service.

Pros: We arrived early and were welcomed without any fuss. the room was ready and we were able to tidy up immediately - what a joy after 28 hours of air travel! the room, although not large, was perfectly adequate. furnishings were fresh and modern and very clean. the location was excellent as was the advise given on the website about taxis etc.

Pros: Really helpful, friendly staff. great room on 4th floor (lift)one wall glass with large opening door (railings), overlooking port. fridge. huge bath, great shower.
Cons: Beds very hard! if going to barcelona for a short break it would be more practical to stay centrally, say bario gotic, as so much time is taken travelling otherwise.
