"WORTH THE EXTRA"

Fine hotel. Worth paying the extra for a sea view room which overlooks the bay and the promenade.An added bonus was watching the Carnaval floats going past the hotel after the day,s festivities .We did not bother with breakfast at the hotel as Old Nice and the market area are only 5 minutes away and provide better value.

Pros: This was our 3rd stay at hotel suisse and it never disappoints.the location is outstanding and the view is incredible. when holidaying in nice it is the only place to stay as far as we are concerned.

Cons: Birds are nesting above the balcony door on the fifth floor. we were unable to use our balcony due to the amount of birds droppings. we upgraded to a premier room for the balcony and were disappointed not to be able to use it.

"We had a beautiful, clean and confortable room"

Pros: We had a beautiful, clean and confortable room. the staff was wonderful and the best part of all was the view from the room of the seacoast and town. at night we could hear the sound of the waves crashing on the beaches. road noise was a minium at night and sleeping was not a problem.
Cons: Be careful when showering in the tub. it was very slippery and my daughter slipped and fell on the faucets and broke them off of the bath tubs. the hotel staff was very apologetic and showed the utmost concern for her well being. thankfully she didn't appear to be seriously hurt. but they should install some sort of a grab bar or non slip in the shower.

Pros: Very clean, contemporary hotel with stunning views from our bedroom (which was a traditional room). reception staff were very helpful, especially one of female receptionists who went out her way to get us a cup of tea one evening. it is an excellent location, very close to the market and old town as well as the port. ideal hotel for a long weekend in nice.
Cons: No negative points noted. other visitors should be aware that there is no restaurant. breakfast is served although we always had meals out in the market area (very close by) or old town.

Earning its 4 stars, Hotel Suisse is ideal for all types of visitor. Transport is no trouble to or from here, as nearby you can find Nice Riquier Railway Station. Recommended additions to your trip are Flower Market, Nice Opera and Theatre of Nice. Musee d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain is located 1.5 km (0.9 miles) from the hotel. Why not stop by Colline du Chateau for fun and frolics.

Areas including a bar/lounge, a cocktail lounge and a non-smoking area (generic) are available for visitors to Hotel Suisse. Take advantage of services such as photocopying, a fax service, or even a luggage storage. Attractive to single travellers or groups, a selection of music is provided for entertainment here.
