The best thing about this hotel was the roof top terrace pool and bar. The worst aspect was the stale smell permeating through the whole buidling. Room was small ,deco tired, but comfortable with balcony. Cleanliness OK. But we were not able to get a safe from reception because they were all full. Would recommend only if at agreeable price.

Pros: Wonderful view from the rooftop restaurant and pool. great to have a balcony off the room and roll down blinds to make the room dark.
Cons: The rooms, pool and the hotel in general is outdated and needs to be refurbished.

 "The hotel is centrally located in nice"
Pros: The hotel is centrally located in nice. whilst comfortable, the air conditioning appears to be centrally controlled which means you cannot choose the temperature of the room yourself. the hotel feels like it was decorated in the 1960's with a lot of very dark wood in smallish rooms which is a bit oppressive. we found it expensive for what it is. other hotels at similar prices have much better decor and are better maintained. i would not consider this hotel a 4 star.

Pros: They could not find our reservation but more than made up for any inconvenience and upgraded us to a very nice room. the people there are wonderful and as a result we will continue to stay there. the location and property are just as nice!

Pros: The staff was really kind ang great location.
Cons: We had to keep the curtain closed due to the proximity of the other buildings (everyone could see inside the room) and tv didn’t work very well.

Pros: We were very lucky to get a room on the 7th floor with a beautiful view over the city. it also had a balcony and a fantastic bathroom. i will definitely return to the hotel if i visit nice again. it was the best hotel during our stay in france.

On top of that, the hotel is 595 meter from Nice train station, 200 meters from the nearest tram stop, 7 km away from the Nice Côte d'Azur airport and close to the main bus stops.

The SPA of Splendid Hotel & Spa Nice can be found on the ground floor and includes a hammam, Jacuzzi, fitness with Power-plate and 2 cabins for treatments, including ‘Decleor’ natural products.
