Excellent location. The rooms were small but well furnished. Only disappointment was that the hotel sits ontop of a bar and its very noisy until late at night. It's surprising that the bar forms the reception.

Hotel was ok. Stairs are very steep basically like ladders. was two single beds instead of one double. room window looked out to what i think was a red light window with big red curtains. room was ok clean enough. Shower and toilet was nice and clean. very loud at nights. was a great location if you dont mind the loud noises from the streets. Window didnt shut correctly so was frightened things were going to get stolen but didnt. Even though the hotel wasnt too bad i still wouldnt go bk to this one. Spend your money in a nicer one slightly outside of the center it is very loud.

We would highly recomment this hotel .. we had a lovely welcome and the staff were very helpfull... The rooms were a little small but the bed comfy and we had everything that we needed.. The stairs were great fun especially with our luggage .. all in all we would definately stay here again as was great value for money.

This hotel is a great base for exploring Amsterdam. The hotel rooms are above the bar, the bar doubles as the reception desk. All the staff were very friendly and most helpful.The rooms we had was VERY small but clean. The only drawback are the stairs leading to rooms they are VERY steep more like ladders!!I would recommend this hotel

the room was very very small and even though i booked a room with a double bed i found out it was two single beds pushed together... when me and my partner were lying on the bed it decided to part in the middle and we both fell to the floor...i couldnt believe it ..the shower was a total waste of time as only half the jets worked and my partner couldnt wash her hair the whole time we were there because of this... we would of been better off using a watering can......overall its in a great location to everything but the hotell is very poor and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I had great time here,the bar n hotel staff very friendly,central to everything. Only small problems wit some of my friends rooms but ours were fine. My friend was staying in room 4 and this room seems one of best so wud opt for that one if I cud.

I had room on the top floor,stairsup to the room were smsll winding steps and unsafe when carrying luggage up to room and trecherous when carrying luggage down.Hotel in good location, short walk from railway station and attractions.Television did not work, soap dispenser empty and no plastic glasses, reception provided soap and cardboard cups.Room just ok for 1 night if you are agile, I would not stay there again and would look for a chain type of hotel.

Really good hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam and close to the central station. The staff was very friendly. The only bad thing was that there were small hairs from other people in some of the towels and the bed sheets.

To come to the "Deluxe double room " which I had booked, you have to carry your laguage upstairs to the 3rd floor. The stairway was such small, and steeply that it was very dangerous to go up an down. For guests who are not very strong it'simpossible to get their cases in the rooms.The service was also unacceptable, we had to cover a second duvet by ourselves. Only the positiion in the central of Amsterdam was very positiv

The stay was definitely average. I felt a little dirty in the bed. It seemed that the sheets weren't thoroughly washed. The young lady at reception was very nice & helpful. One nice thing is that you can walk anywhere. I think this hotel is best suited for younger twenty-somethings looking for a place to sleep.

IBC is Europe's biggest TV Film trade show and Amsterdam hotels are fully booked so we have to pay a premium and most hotels have a minimum stay of 5 nights.On my arrival reception was in the cafe bar next door to the hotel room entrance. I had to pay a €10.00 key card deposit The stairs are seriously steep more akin to loft ladders and safer to come down backwards with you case at the side of you. Not suitable for children or people that not fit.The are people smoking weed in the bar!. The receptionist carried my case up to my room which was on the top floor and was quiet.Breakfast the bar only seems to open after 9AM, so I reccomend a restarantant that is on the main road from DAM square (turn right , left then when crossing the main road it is facing you ).

It was adequate, but slightly overpriced for a hotel in a very lively, and often noisy location.it was ok for our purposes though - centrally located, we could walk everywhere, and not far from train station.

Great service, very friendly staff. The room was clean with a small but spotless bathroom. Great location, 5 minutes from the train station, we were in the room within an hour after our plane touched the ground!!! Also if you pay with cash you get a free bottle of beer or wine!

I stayed at the Frisco Inn for a long weekend with my partner. We was quite worried of where our hotel was and what it would be like. However there was nothing to worry about the staff where very friendly and spoke English (which I was concerned they wouldn't). The hotel was in the heart of everything nothing was further than 10mins walk away but it was not too loud either for people who will come back earlier.The owner was lovely made us feel so welcome and would do anything he possibly could to make our stay brilliant (which he achieved). He even took time out to find our friends a hotel as they was worried as everywhere was fully booked, he didnt have to do this but went out his way to do so.The rooms where clean and safe. Overall made our weekend so much more enjoyable will definitely be staying there again.

In the off-peak season, this hotel is ideally located near to the Red Light District (good Coffeeshops are just around the corner) and 5 minutes walk from Centraal Station which is the arrival station for the trains from the Schiphol airport. The rooms are tiny but clean, with TV, safe and small wardrobe. As everywhere in Amsterdam, the stairs are really steep. The hotel has its own café/bar, serving breakfast for approx. 7-10 Euros.However, I assume that the location may become very noisy during the peak season due to tourists in the street in front of the hotel as well as those in the hotel as the walls are pretty thin. The staff is very helpful.
