"Soft bed"

The hotel is located 100 metres from the Museum squareYou can walk to the center for 10-15 minutes. In 300 metres Hard Rock cafe, and a stop of the boats on the canals.Soft bed, good service, quick wi-fi.

"Nice Hotel"

It's a good hotel, stayed 2 nights,i spend 55 euros the night for a single room, the bed is perfect, great wifi connexion, tv very small, my laptop screen was bigger, but i didnt came to watch tv :) I recommend this hotel, location is great and friendly staff.

Pros: Our stay was excellent! hotel staff were lovely, the men at reception are kind & friendly, they made us feel welcomed right from when we arrived. they also spoke english and could understand us, which made it alot easier for us. we loved the 'one first limousine' services, the drivers were also friendly and pleasent. we will definantly recommend the saphir hotel to others.

Pros: The location is excellent, but the main thing is the staff are amazing. they cannot help you enough, they are friendly and i couldn't rate them better. the rooms are clean and comfy.
Cons: If breakfast wasn't included, i would not have paid 15 euro a day for it. i think coffee and tea service should be included inn the room, most hotels offer this. our tv broke and i had to report it twice to get any help on this, and then i had to keep chasing it up.

Cons: Overall there was an attitude of parsimony about the hotel: paying for tea and coffee service in the room, deposit for use of hair-dryer.
housekeeping was very poor, the room only being attended on half the days i was there. on one occasion, fresh towels were dumped on the unmade bed and that was the total housekeeping for that day.
there was a build-up of foul air in the bathroom overnight which was almost unbearable each morning. clearly this is an on-going problem and i saw no merit in even mentioning it to staff.
breakfast buffet was well presented but nothing exceptional and again poor value for money as satisfactory (or better) alternatives were locally available for less than half the cost.
staff were efficient but in the main lacked any real sense of hospitality, the worst case being a silent, blank stare by way of dealing with a query.
i chose this hotel as i used it when it was the smit and assumed that the former level of service would be provided. unhappily this was far from true and i regret to say that i shall not be staying there again; i would, in fact, discourage anyone i knew from staying there.

Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable room was v small we were on 5th floor and in an attic type rooom. lighting was also extremley poor. phone in room was broken after 2 nights we asked to move which staff kindly did. on the lower floor rooms were slightly better.

Cons: My only complaint was a lack of kettle and cups for tea or coffee.i cannot remember the last time i was in a hotel without these facilities.
