Hôtel Le Châtelet Luxembourg  

I must say I'm disappointed. The hotel definitely needs renovation. The room we were in (family room) was big and this is the only positive. The carpet was dirty and smelled really bad. The additional bed was small and it was almost impossible to sleep in it (there was a piece of wood at the level of shoulders, which you could really feel!). Breakfast advertised as very good , was in fact rather standard.On the positive side - the location is really ok if you would like to see the center of the city. The staff is ok. They spoke a good English and gave me good directions regarding both restaurants and sightseeing and suggested to use the street parking, free of charge during weekend, instead of a hotel one. When I gave the feedback on the room quality (more less what I wrote above), it got the discount.
