Pros: Hotel staff veronica if im not mistaken on her name, is very helpful especially when assisting us to get a cab for the next morning.
Cons: Hot water did not work well.

Pros: The location is very convenient. the rooms are very clean. the staff were very keen to help. the manager or owner was very friendly and reasonable. the costs were reasonable reduced for problems in the apartments.
Cons: We booked two apartments but were given two bedroom for one of the two apartments for the first night. the staff told us it was becasue the guests in the apartment reserved for us did not move their luggage out and the no other apartments were avaialble to accommodate us. on the following day, the apartment they gave us was still like two rooms. the space was so limited that it was like one single room with two beds in and one double room with two beds and one sofa-bed in. the apartment should have been for four people but only it could only accommodate a small tea table with two chair so that we could not sit altogether at the same time. wifi could only be available around the corner of the apartment. when sitting on the chairs by the tea table, no wifi was available. as for the other apartment we had got, the space was bigger but still not enough. the hot water for shower was only enough for one person and the others had to wait for ages. the fuse jumped for dosens of times for the first night so it was really annoying. the staff came trying to fixed midnight but in vain. we finally found the next morning that it was because the all the electric heaters were left on to the maximum which were not checked by the staff.

Pros: The location is great, close to the city centre.
Cons: The walls are not sound-proofed enough. one night the people next door were having an intense argument and i could not get to sleep because of the noise.

Pros: Pl bardzo czysto, cicho, bez hałasu na korytarzu, pościel i ręczniki czyste. bogate wyposażenie kuchni w tym mikrofala, toster, lodówka, dużo szklanek i kieliszków, gorąca woda do kąpieli, telewizor (tylko hiszpańskie kanały). na życzenie recepcjonista udostępnił szuszarke do włosów. największą zaletą tego hotelu jest to, ze znajduję się bardzo blisko ulicy gran via i w zasięgu ręki jest sklep spożywczy z w miare tanim jedzeniem.

eng the very clean hotel, no noise, bed linen were very clean. the kitchen was very well equipped: microwave, toaster, fridge, lots of glasses. the water was hot, there was a tv but only with spanish channels. we got dryer when we asked for. the biggest adventage of this hotel is that it's close to the main street in madrid- gran via, and there is a nice store with relatively cheap food.

Pros: Good location! very convenient to gran via and all the tourist offerings. checkin was wonderful. host did a wonderful job telling us about room and tour offering. will recommend to other travellers!!

Pros: Great location!! room was basic but just what you needed. wifi worked really well. beds and bathroom were clean.
Cons: A little bit hard to find at first, but once you know where it is, it is very easy to find!

Pros: Excellent hotel - for a hostel the room size and bathroom size were far bigger thatn we expected. we booked a double room that had 2 double beds, it was decorated very modern and the little touches like the towel swans was lovely. excellent value for money would recommed to anyone staying for a short break.
Cons: Noise can carry, out of our 4 nights we had one night where some drunken english people made so much noise when they came in at 5am.

Pros: Pretty, modern and clean rooms. not too small. very private. location is perfect: right in the city center. nice bars on the street.

Pros: Very sympathetic owner and employee's of the hostal, he had good suggestions of visiting madrid.

Pros: Incredibly helpful and cheerful staff
Cons: There was building work (walls being knocked down) in progress upstairs directly above my room on the afternoon i arrived and the following morning from 9am. i wish i could have been informed before booking.
