Offering a warm bed & breakfast style welcome in a lovely destination, the Flamingo Lodge, Durban is sure to win a place in your affections. This attractive and affordable accommodation in Umhmlanga Rocks is closer than any of the other hotels to the main bathing beach. Just a stone's throw away, and you'll find plenty of open-air restaurants and breathtaking scenery, whilst the 4 km (2.4 miles) long beach is the perfect spot for your morning jog. You may even catch sight of dolphins and whales! Whether you are into upscale shopping in downtown Durban or world class golf clubs, you'll find the area has a lot to offer. The centre of Durban is just 12 km (7.4 miles) away, whilst Durban International Airport can be easily reached within 25 minutes. The Flamingo Lodge makes the ideal base for a truly memorable holiday. The dedicated and friendly staff are delighted to be of service, and guests arriving by car will find safe private parking on the premises. Don't hesitate to ask your knowledgeable hosts about things to see and do, they will gladly arrange a number of activities or bookings and can often offer special discounts. If you want to catch up on emails back home, then take advantage of the wireless hotspot throughout the lodge. You can happily surf or work on your laptop on the verandah as you enjoy a chilled drink from the honesty bar. There is also an Internet café for guests who would like to use the on-site PC to download their digital pictures onto disks.
