 "Perfect stay for 1st time in Venice"
The location could not have been better for our first stay in Venice, just a 5 mins walk from the piazza de roma( bus station). The entrance to the hotel was very grand & impressive and the room was lovely and spacious .I can imagine in summer the outdoor dining area would be superb overlooking the canal. Just a few tips for girlies - Take a Hairdryer the one in the bathroom is not that cracking. They offer a dry cleaning service but no iron available to hire. Great stay will return again.

Fantastic room with the balcony overlooking Grand Canal. Well worth the extra 50 euros per night for this view. We just love to watch Venice sail by whilst sipping champagne on the balcony and watching the sun go down. We dined at the hotel outdoors by the Grand Canal waters edge - superb food, service and setting.Hotel close to rail station, bus station and one can even walk with suitcase from the cruise ships to the hotel, only one lot of stairs up and over a canal bridge, but you can pay a guy with a trolley about 10 euros to get your cases over the steps, if you can't manage it yourself. Another reason why we chose this hotel.

 "Good and helpful staff, friendly"
Pros: Good and helpful staff, friendly. nice bar and terrace and while the location was a way from the sights it was easy on arrival as near the station and there were a number of good bars and cafes around so a nice spot.
Cons: The room was very small and dark - a bit disappointing for the money.

very very good location , easy to get from the train station as the bus station , close to every where , lovely view from the rooms over to the gran canal.
Cons: I really think it needs a make over , carpet and some decorations looks a bit tired . even,it has got a big menu for breakfas as i'm a celiac no much choic for me

Cons: - receptionists are supercilious
- do not fulfil askings of guests: we booked double, but get twin. after asking to change room, we were got information that in one hour room will be changes, but they did nothing.
only becouse of evening and romantic mood avoided us from reclamation at the hotel.
