 "Great base for visiting venice"
Stayed for three days. Just across from Lido caper stop, 10 mins ferry from St Marks. S M Elisabetta is nice for low key shops and bars. Nice easy escape from claustrophobia of Venice itself. We were there in March so Lido had off season feel about it which helped on the room rate. Expect life quite different when the beach is open.

 "one week in Venezia"
The hotel is well located and the price is right, however when you arrive there you´ll have to pay a little more because of the city taxes (we had to pay 32€ more).Also, when we chose this hotel in booking, it said that we would have free wifi, but unfortunately this wasn't true, if you want Internet connection you have to pay 10€ for 4 hours ONLY and that was the maximum. We asked there for an offer in the price of the Wifi, due to a week of stay, but it was rejected.The breakfast was included in the price, it was a buffet, it was good if you will be staying just the weekend, because we ate scrambled eggs almost everyday for one week...Anyway, the hotel was good and the island where is located is good and calm, however if you want to go to Venice you have to buy tickets of public transport, and its a bit expensive, we were lucky of being less than 25 years old, because we had a discount of 10 € on our tickets.

 "Great location"
Pros: Great location. nice big rooms and very comfortable beds. great place to stay if you take young kids to venice, as there is a lovely (free) beach is just a few minutes away. also, plenty of bars and restaurants for the evening.
Cons: Reasonable selection at breakfast, but awful surroundings. the hotel has two lovely terraces, but breakfast is served in a dark and uninspiring room!
also a bit cheap to charge guests for wifi and the private beach - come on, le boulevard, do the decent thing!
2pm check-in a bit punishing for a party of 8 (2 family rooms), including 4 under 10. (you could have given us one room in which to dump our stuff!)
