Cons: Well, to us, the location was a bit far. we had to walk over the bridge before taking the tram to the city.
Cons: Breakfast was v.expensive and the hotel tried to charge us more for our rooms than we had paid with yourself. however i had my booking details with me and after speaking with the manager they refunded the difference. didn't think much to the spar facilities considering the hotel star rating.

Cons: The beds in standard rooms are not so comfortable, they are on wheels. and the location is a little remote from the center of amsterdam.
Cons: This was a non-smoking hotel, but i did not see this information listed anywhere on the hotel info. you have to sign an agreement that you will be charged 150 euros if you smoke in the room.

Cons: We asked for a cot when booking & also by email a week before we arrived at the hotel. the cot was not in the room when we checked in, and it took over 1hour for them to 'find' a cot. our son was beside himself & extremely overtired by the time the cot finally arrived, the duty manager then gave us just under 1 night for free (we still had to pay vat & tax). the cot was also faulty (missing a screw on one leg), this was reported but nothing whatsoever was done about it.
