 "A place to sleep - nothing more"
The Marble Arch Inn has a great location and the prices are really good. Stayed there with 2 friends, and we got a room with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. So great location and affordable prices. And we went there to see the city, not to stay much at the hotel. Then it didn't matter that the room was small and not the cleanest room I've stayed in...

 "I basically lived there"
I recently moved to London but needed a place to stay until I found a place to live. With its low cost and amazing location, it seemed like a good choice. I stayed in room #4 which is on the main floor which was great considering a had a ton of stuff with me. The room was small but the bed was comfy and there was a TV and tea and coffee in the room. Getting around was really easy because the Marble Arch tube station is only a 4 min walk away. I ended up staying there for almost 3 weeks and it was great. The room was very clean and I slept ok most nights. Room 4 is right next to a bathroom so sometimes I woke up because of the door opening and shutting but other than that, it was fine. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and have told everyone I know about it, too. Also, the girl who works at the front dsek was REALLY great and was very helpful.

Good location with walking distance to the center and all museums. Kind staff. Quiet in the nights. Not good breakfast, just a box with prepacked cold things.The shower was no good. Not enough hot water.

 "Perfect place to stay during weekend trip!"
Me and my mom went to London for 4 nights and stayed at Marble Arch Inn and really felt like we got alot for our money (260 pound for the room 4 nights) Be aware that the room is VERY small, but we just needed a place near Oxford street with a nice bed and that's exactly what we got!I really liked this hotel! Nice staff and a GREAT location!! Small room but had everything we needed -coffee, zink, dubblebed, towels and a drawer. 2 min walk to Marble Arch / Oxford street ! Milou

 "Totally worth it"
The service was good and quick. The room was very small, but I knew to expect that.We liked the location so much, that we are definitely coming back. So much to see, so near the hotel, incl. shops, Marble Arch park. Grocery store nearby (open all night long ! ) Short distance from the nearest tubestation, which was very nice. Nothing bad to say, but next time, we get a room that has it's own bathroom facilities =D

 "Bed Bug Alert"
It would be a waste of your time and mine to describe anything beyond this point. I cannot stress enough how miserable it is to have to deal with getting rid of bed bugs on your vacation, or how terrifying the thought of bringing them home is.My husband and I began our Europe trip at Marble Arch and saw the symptoms of bed bugs (small dark stains on the linens) the first night. Unfortunately we had never dealt with bed bugs and so didn't realize the seriousness of the situation until checkout day, when I noticed that my husband's shoulders and arms were covered in bites.We've laundered all our clothing twice and still see bugs. I think we're at the point of throwing away everything (even our expensive new backpacking bags, sigh) once we get home.This has really dampened our vacation, and I warn all travelers to stay away from Marble Arch because the hotel (services, tiny room, average location, and over-valued cost) is not worth having to deal with this.

 "Good value for a budget hotel"
As a lower-priced hotel, I was quite satisfied with this place -- the rooms were adequate and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it's hard to find budget rooms that will sleep a family of 5 comfortably in central London (3 blocks from Marble Arch tube station). However, the lip between the shower and the rest of the (very small) bathroom was inadequate, so every time someone took a shower, the entire bathroom floor flooded. The free wifi was practically unusable -- it denied access to any https site (i.e. practically anything that requires a login), and constantly required re-entering the passcode. There was a wifi pay option though that worked much better.

Worn out hotel.No toilet in the room.No shower in the room (1 floor up)Very narrow and little space.All in all the worst hotel I have ever experienced.Service is good - so is the central location. The only reasons this hotel might survive.

 "Happy stay at the Marble Arch Inn"
We are a family of six, 4 kids from 4-13 and 2 adults. We stayed in the "family room", which is a large room (~20' x 20') with two double (queen size) beds and two single beds and a very small bathroom tucked into the corner. It was cozy but clean with towels for everyone. After long days seeing the sites, it was fine for just crashing for the night. The Inn is three blocks from the Marble Arch Underground station and the beginning of the Oxford Street shopping district, so the location is pretty good. There is also a small market across the street that is open late for those late night snacks. The only minus would be the wifi access: the free wifi is slow and won't access secure sites, but OK for checking email. If you want faster internet service or need to access secure sites, you'll need to pay for that. Last, the service was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Overall, the Marble Arch Inn is good value for the money. We'll look into staying there again next time we're in London.

 "Good value for money"
The hotel is very close to Marble Arch and therefore in a very good location. The rooms are not very big but we had a room with bathroom and , despite the violet color of the lower part of the wall, was what you can expect from a BandB. The staff was friendly. There are nice (and cheap restaurants) in the Wigmore street (10 minutes walk from the hotel).

My stay at the hotel was four nights with my sister. The room was so small - barely space for other than the bed. But it was only five minutes walk to Oxford st. and the staff was helpful.

Pros: Location is good, but that's pretty much all that is good about this hotel - other than the free chocolates located at reception.
Cons: Very incorrect description on website. nothing like the description at all. very small room that smelt heavily of smoke (even though this is a non-smoking hotel). very noisy everything creak and cleaner very noisy. bathroom tiny, taps loose, shower curtains too short so floor is always wet. heater in room doesn't work. room did not have refridgerator as per description at(lucky i printed my confirmation out together with the description as the polite reception staff offered to bring one up after a little instance on my behalf). tiny tv with remote connected to stretchy cord (nearly got strangled by it in my sleep). no elevators just very steep creaky stairs.

 "Staff is very friendly and helpful"
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. this was my 3rd time in this hotel and it has always been a good experience. perfect location for those who, like me want to spend their holiday shopping in oxford street which is just a 5min walk away(or less.shared bathrooms are always clean. very good value for money!
Cons: Rooms are small but the location and the price definitely make up for that!

Cons: The beds are terrible. there was no fridge in the room, there was a note on the door that there would be. the windows were not keeping the cool air outside. and they were hard to close. bathroom was very tiny.. and not that clean. carpet in the room was old and worn out
