 "Strahov Residence Monastery"
A charming place to stay on the grounds of the Strahov Monastery, with easy access to the Prague castle, Hradcany and Mala Strana. It was a bit tricky to find as the entrance is inside the monastery grounds, but once there we received a warm welcome from the helpful, English-speaking staff. Rooms are old-fashioned but well-maintained, and were comfortable and quiet. Two pluses were the breakfast buffet enjoyed in the garden of the residence, and dinner at the (not-affiliated) Bella Vista restaurant just outside the grounds, with excellent food and a fabulous view of the entire city.
