 "Easter Tango Festival Basel"
A perfect hotel choice - Central, with excellent tram connections. Well informed and helpful staff. The Schweizerhof is welcoming, comfortably furnished - super bathrooms too! Would definitely stay there again.

 "Quick check in"
Pros: Quick check in...excellent location to train station only 1 min by foot and they gave us a transport pass which came very handy as the bus/tram depot was out the front of the hotel but not noisy at all as they double glazed windows. we initially walked into town by foot about 15 min away but soon realized we could take the tram for free which dropped us outside the hotel and this allowed us to dine at restaurants at night on the canals in town...
Cons: Perhaps an iron an ironing board would have been welcomed in the room as there was plenty of space for it and we had been travelling for 1 week and clothes crumpled. it would have been good if the receptionist had told us to take a particular tram into town and volunteered the map when she gave us the travel cards...otherwise i cant fault anything
