 "always my first choice to stay in london"
Cheap and good location with great rooms and comfy beds, very minimal but clean and nicely decorated. Only problem was rust in the shower - fine when we're only there for one night but something that should be sorted.

I would not stay there again. Not at all what I expected and the breakfast poor. Left over food in fridge, dirty cups and no coffee! Bathroom was clean, very very noisy

 "Nice location but the Triple Room is too small"
The Location is very good. Two subway stations are only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is clean but the rooms are like in most London hotels are very small which is ok but for a triple room was the room and especially the bathroom extremely small ... There is no storage space in the bathroom not even have a hook on the wall! Breakfast is the same every day but ok here is the breakfast room also extremely small.

Pros: It's located perfectly near paddington station which makes it easy to get from and to heathrow using the heathrow express, and paddington underground station. it's also a walk away from hyde park, edgware road, queensway and more..
Cons: The main lady at the reception is very helpful and pleasant but the rest of the staff including temp receptionists don't know much about anything.

Cons: The breakfast area is too small and if you happen not to be the first one for breakfast so that you get a table in the middle of the room, you are finished. you have only the choice of tables against the wall and there is no space to push the chairs to be able to sit. at the end one just don't bother to have breakfast and leave the place. money lost for the breakfast.

Pros: The hotel was newly refurbished so clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. the staff were very friendly and tye breakfast in the morning was just fine. clean, healthy, nice option of continental wity fast service and open buffet style. the hotel rooms in the main building are nce als top floors.
Cons: The basement room we were given on the first night was a bit of a squeeze and the toilet door dodnt close. also the street side basement had too much light coming in at night. kindly the hotel swappped out room for us the next morning to an upper floor one which was just fine.

Cons: We booked a three bed rooom but got a double room whith an extra bed so the room was to small for 3 adults.

Cons: The tiniest shower in the world and a toilet so high i couldn't rest my feet on the ground - and i have long legs!

Cons: The room was very small.

we ordered af taxi by the hotel staff, when we had to go til liverpool street station an early morning (on our way home).
when we arrived liverpool street station, the taxi didn´t accept credtitcard - only cash !!! accually it didn´t look like a taxi, more like an ordinary car.
we had to run to the station to find some cash. it was not a nice situation - and the driver didn´t care, he just want his money.
in the end we got on the train on our way home....

we think that the staff should tell us that, the taxi do not accept creditcard. then we will have a chance to get some cash before the trip. or the staff should order a taxi, which accept creditcard.

Cons: The breakfast room was very cramped and breakfast could have been richer. it was not good value for the money the room had cost.the fact that there wasn't a lift was a bit of a problem

Cons: Never stay at this hotel!!!! they have rooms in the basement with garbage outside the semibasement window. it was awfull! if you are european forget about shaving and telefone charging, because they have only 3 adapters for a whole hotel. so if you are not the first, you will suffer.

Pros: Good location to paddington station. clean and newly refurbished hotel. helpful staff.
Cons: We were given a basement room for 3 people, a bit cramped. breakfast room a nightmare, not enough room and poorly restocked when you are in a rush, waiting for crossants to be cooked. coffee cups very small.
