My opinion is that Is not good hotel. Is not clean the bathroom. The room with shower is terrible. Good is their situation in Paris. The metro station is very near to hotel, and the shop of croisant is very good

 "Horrible stay!"
Our stay was really bad, the hotel is located away from the city centre, the building was in rehabilitation, reception people was impolite and distrustful, the room was very old and poor, NO TV we didnt like it...

 "Cleanness"
The personal is friendly, but the cleanness service is not good at all, the last day of my stay, they do not do the cleanness' room. Do not picked up the rubbish from the bins, the toilets smelled bad all the time

 "Review of Hotel Lafayette"
+near from center+subway station a few steps away+accessible all night + day+quiet, clean, cheap-shower on next floor-very small-cold floor in the showerbut it was the cheapest choice, so I can't complaint much

 "One night hotel"
This is the hotel for max. 1 night :). It is all inside in wood, without much space in the room. The room is dark, and looks like it was not fixed since 50 years. Toilet is so small You cannot stand straight there and is on the corridor in the middle of the stairs. It looks like a cheap motel from american movies, that always something happen in :). Anyway it was nice, that there were no cockroaches. :). This hotel is quite cheap, but I do not reccomend it.

 "Cost & Location good, quality and clean bad"
The hotel is in a very close location to Gare du nord.Not very clean, looks bad, shower broken, door didn't close very well.doesn't speak english. No towels. No breakfast. Sheets not very clean.Cold and not all the lights worked.You can't take the key with you outside. Not very safe for your luggage.

 "Good location, but terrible accomodation"
Hotel is very poor with wet rooms, mouldy smell, cold outside the room WC and shower. Guys in reception don't speak English (or just a few words). But location of it is good: you can go to Monmartr within a half hour afoot. Metro is very near.

 "Overnight"
Room was small but reasonable. Comfortable for the price but was disapointed that the room was not en-suite. Seperate shower facility. Location was near the railway station but could be difficult to get to if you have any problems walking. Walk was about 10 minutes

 "Worst hotel I've ever been in my life"
Dirty room, dirty shower, very small and dirty bathroom with no toilet paper. Breakfast is not served. The receptionist was not very friendly and gave no information (not even asked for the documentation!). Not recommended.

 "Worst hotel in Paris"
This hotel is horrible. Room is dirty, dusty, it was never clean during our stay, they just gave us 1 towel for 2 people. The mattress was really uncomfortable, you could tell the sheets were super old. This place look like a pension, there was like people living there, so you could see food on the window frame of some rooms, plus there was a crazy old lady that would play the radio super loud to make sure you won't sleep at all, she turned it off next day around 9:30 am. Next day we complain to the reception, the good thing is that they found were the noise was coming from and made it stop.You have good selection of supermarkets and restaurants around, since there is a business school close by. Besides the river is close, so you can have a romantic view at night and some cafes or restaurants that can be romantic, but a bit pricey.

 "Cleanliness can't be a luxury"
I ve never been in a hotel as horrible as this one. Location is the ONLY advantage. Rooms were smelly and defenitly not the same at the pictures. Personal not helpfull at all. I do not recomend this hotel, even when is near many public transportations.

It so baad, so dirty , very bad quality reception, and so expensive ! It's terribleee !!!!In the easybook.com photos, hostel was lookng good but, in reality it is not the same. Very different, terribleeeee!!!!!

 "Budget friendly"
The hotel was great but don't expect luxury. It is just a basic hotel that is cheap and in a great cheap location. You don't stay in the hotel anyway when you're on holiday so this one is great for getting home and sleeping.

 "clean simple cheap"
Hotel was good only for sleeping at night. WC and shower was outside the room, but clean and working. This hotel I recomend to people who looking for one night cheap sleeping place in Paris. All the equipment and furniture except bed mattress (this was new in my room) was old, but working.

 "Sober but all right!"
The hotel is in the central area of Paris, very near little restaurants, shops and the metro. Service is OK. Remember that you have to pay at the desk when you enter. Easy to book only makes the reservation. In total: a sober place but all right!

 "Worst Condition"
This hotel is quite far from Gare Du Nord. Arnd 25 mins walking. Better you take bus. NOT RECOMMENDED for family due to no lift . Toilet (WC) is very small. They can't speak English. Cupboard door pull off.

 "5-day trip to Paris"
My stay at La Fayette was quite enjoyable. I and my friend weren't looking for a very classy place since we only needed a place to sleep at and the hostel turned out to be quite a surprise in terms of hostels. Our room was on the third floor, it smelled slightly weird but definitely not dirty. The toilets were small, right next to the stairs and though we had a shower in our room there were at least two showers on each floor (seemed clean). Though the neighbourhood seemed kind of lousy at first, we were completely wrong, the streets are dirty everywhere :D Gare de l'Est, one of the main stations is right around the corner. Two 7-eleven-like food shops are right down the street and there's a department store at the end of the street. Over all if you're on a budget and don't need a high end place La Fayette will be great!

 "The worst hotel ive ever seen"
This was the most terrible hotel ive ever been to. Everything was dirty, smelly and sticky. There was no towels in the rooms and the external toilet and showers were... disgusting, also during the night i couldnt sleep because of the noises coming out from the corridor.Location was not so bad, as it was close to metro and the bus station.In my opinion the value of this room was way to high, as you pay about 20 eur more and you have an up to standard room.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone - not even to my enemies It was the worst experience ever!!!
