 "very pleasant, very comfortable"
We are very satisfied with our one week stay at Charlotte Guest House. The team was very helpful and friendly, the rooms nice and quiet, the place within 2 minutes walking distance of the underground/overground/bus stations.

 "Positive feedback"
A bit wary as London is not renowned for its welcoming suburbs (have been to regional places several times before), but the location from the tube was excellent. The parking was several streets away with a daily ticket having to be purchased from reception, but that was a small price to pay for value for money.Breakfast was excellent and. Dry courteous staff. The manager/proprietor was exceptionally helpful with a misunderstanding and followed up with customer care well after I had departed.Would stay there again...

 "Charming and delightful"
My wife and I, and our eight-year-old son stayed here in September 2012 and loved it. The staff was wonderful, often going out of their way to accommodate us (especially Barbara!). The buildings are charming, with lots of character, on a very quiet, quintessentially London suburban street. The rooms were clean and cozy, and perfect for our needs (we actually had two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with two single beds - separated by a bathroom in between). The breakfast service was exemplary; the food was plentiful and tasty. The guest house is just a few short blocks from the tube and the overground railroad, so sightseeing in London was a breeze. Side note to Beatle fans: it's a delightful twenty minute walk to Abbey Road studios! We felt pampered and at home here. Highly recommended.

 "A good base for exploring London"
The Guest house is in fact a number of similar houses along the road. Each one that our party stayed in was newly renovated.The houses are ideally located close to Underground, Overground & the direct train from Luton. Also the 139 Bus to central London past Lords & Abbey Rd Studios. The area seems safe , with restaurants,supermarkets & laundromats close by.

 "weekend in London"
We stayed one night. It very pleasant, we had a quiet bedroom, so we could relax.The bedroom and bathroom were clean. Next time we will go with our daughters !! We were lucky because we had the sun and for the breakfast on Sunday it was very nice.

 "Great place to stay!"
Great people working there. Very helpful. Easy access to all transportations. Let us store luggage while waiting to go to the airport. Only negative, hard to access wifi. We were in another building and had to walk to use it. great breakfasts. Will stay again in 2 weeks. Will recommend to others.

 "Hostel not hotel"
When I booked this hotel I thought that I would have my own private bath. This was not the case. I found out that some rooms do have a private bath, but you have to make sure your room says en suite. I have stayed at a hostel before and see this more as a hostel than a hotel. Also the above ground train ran right outside my window. On a good note the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was great for catching the underground.

Pros: Clean good room with big bathroom, could be different i'f you had another room within the premecies, but ours was excellent. very good value for money. english breakfast and very nice staff. will book again next time i go to london.
hot water!

Cons: One towel a person in the room, but once i asked i immediately also
got face towels as i deceired. cups for thee needed to be changed asked and got new clean ones. great!

Pros: Very friendly staff. free breakfast. location is pretty good near restaurants and trains.
Cons: The advertised free wi-fi was down. beds were pretty uncomfortable even for a hostel.

Open-air concerts are a regular feature on the grounds of Kenwood House, located on the northern part of the Heath. Do not miss the marvellous view of London from the top of Parliament Hill. The area also features excellent public transport connections into central London.
