Hotel in superb position. Cannot belive anybody can hear street noise was totally silent when balcony door shut. Breakfast now includes bacon egg and sausage which was very tasty.Staff excellent and would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Barcelona.

Good hotel. Good location. Great service. Rooftop deck is beautiful, though the designer chose looks over comfort in picking the furniture. One large problem was poor air conditioning in rooms. Difficult to sleep at night if one is used to air conditioning or is froma northern climate. Air temperature read between 20 and 21, but the room remained very humid.

Pros: Thought the hotel was in a fantastic location.
Cons: There are no irons in the room, consequently i had to give my shirts to room service who forgot about them so i didnt have anything to wear in the evening.....poor and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. they did provide a bottle of champagne as compensation, but you pay a premium for a 5 star in my opinion so not really good enough.

Cons: Not a negativ experience but something that might be unconfortable: no outside windows in some rooms and a little bit too much transparency in the bathroom.

Cons: Not a negative, but felt the bedroom itself was narrow making it feel clostraphobic, bathroom was a good size.

This hotel presents a new Derby Hotels Collection eatery on the ground floor and accessible directly from Las Rambles: the Bagués Bistrot- El Regulador, run by chef George Pierre, and offering a varied menu of Mediterranean cuisine based on the freshest produce from the neighbouring Boqueria market. With huge single-pane windows overlooking Les Rambles and Carme Street and capacity for 45 guests, Bistrot El Regulador is open all day and into the early hours.
