The quality and knowledge of english is 0 ( zero / not), they want that you speak french, I believe that english is a top priority to learn for a good tourist attraction...The room which we got wasn't clean they have some special way what it's clean and what's not.. and special way how to clean (floor and shelves with the same cloth, first floor then the shelves )... we have some problems with washroom( bad plumbing) and space heating..And the staff wasnt friendly when we mentioned the few things that would better your residence..The website states that the elevator is all the way to the rooms, it is not. We had to carry our luggage ourselves up two flights of stairs...

Perfect location, 3 mins to metro. Patisserie underneath our balcony! Only negative was that toilets very small and floorboards squeeky in hallway! Not a significant '-' at all, I'd stay here again in a flash.

Not great but I guess you get what you pay for. Handy for a couple of metro stations and opposite the Jardin de Luxembourg but the bed covers were filthy. One was changed when I complained but the other was left - really quite manky.The service was ok. The woman that put out the breakfasts looked like she couldn't be bothered and sighed on various occasions. .It wasn't like she had a difficult job as breakfast consisted of cut french bread sticks with various spreads and rotten coffee from a machine..But the beds were comfy (though we may have received a couple of bites from something unidentified). and the room had a shower and sink which I hadn't expected.. The reception staff were friendly and helpful enough. A power cut in the rooms one night was dealt with promptly enough.Made me think a little of down and out in Paris and London. Maybe with time my memories will be a little romaticised. =)

For the price its ok. The (shared) toilet is very small/too small. We liked to be close to the jardin de luxembourg. We liked the old fashion/vintage look of the room, typical french. We used the room only to sleep from 23.00 to 8 am. That was fine for us, in that time it was quiet in the hotel, but you can sometimes hear people going down the corridor. We liked the coffemachine at breakfast.

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel is clean and good. Don't expect the Ritz and you'll be satisfied.Paiment for breakfast wasn't registred, but they didn't make any trouble after having shown our confirmation.Cleaning lady is a bit loud with her phone and opening lockers and stuff, so sleeping late isn't an option, but who wants to in this city?Good beds, also for tall people.We would consider to go here again.

Pros: The owner is so nice. i booked a single room, but got upgraded to double room instead as it was fully booked. the room has all i need: to sleep and to shower.
Cons: This was old hotel, so the floor was creaking every time someone walks on the corridor. also, at night, it seems to be a bit noisy as it's close to a bar.

Pros: The hotel is in a good location - lots of bars and restaurants and right next to the entrance to the jardin de luxembourg. the room we had (no.22) was the top floor room for a family and was spacious and had the bonus of a toilet in the room, none of the other rooms do, all was exceptionallt clean and tidy - if a little dated. over all was ok but would be better maybe for young student accommodation rather than families.

Pros: A very authentic parisien house in a beautiful place near the jardin de luxembourg. you can walk to saint german and the centre of paris .
Cons: The bed was dirty, the sheets were not clean(ed) and there were black hairs all over the bed. we slept under the blanket and we were cold.

Pros: A nice "hotel"in a parisien street, not too noisy and near the jardin de luxembourg.
Cons: Next time we take a hotel with breakfast, that is easier and cheaper. the toilet was not in the room, next time we take a room with toilet. but that's very personal.

Pros: The room was large and very nicely decorated, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the location was excellent.
Cons: The bathroom situation was a little odd there were no toilets in the "bathroom" in the room but there were some outside in the corridor, that part was ok. but in the room there was a sink and a shower in the corner of the room but there wasn't even a curtain to make this part of the room private.
